I hosted the 2017 eclipse thread to get together some
of the "events" during the week of the eclipse and then

I think the general vote in the POLL with the eclipse thread
was that the DARK SHADOW OVER THE CONTINENTAL U.S.A. was
DEFINITELY A BAD SIGN for our country.

I'm not sure that we can "stretch" out the eclipse
"dark omen" for HAWAII all the way to the month of May
and June 2018 from August of 2017. That the ECLIPSE DATE
was also the 50th Anniversary for Hawaii joining the Union
was interesting--but I wouldn't tie it to the Eclipse
myself.
