i suspect they are pumping freshwater under the volcano or a fissure.this fresh water is activating quick lime.cut the geo plants fresh water source and i bet the volcano settles down.

as for gamma, prove it can do anything.
whats it wattage per square kilometer?
whats its form of causation in physics terms?

didnt everybody leave the island in the end?
could this be a realestate grab?
sure smelling like one.

Earth has taken 5 LARGE GAMMA RAY BURSTS IN THE PAST 5 DAYS...INCLUDING ONE FROM LOCATION WHICH CAUSED THE
2004 SUMATRA QUAKE & TSUNAMI
...90 DAYS AFTER SEASON 1 IN "LOST."

I underlined the comment regarding "proving that
gamma ray bursts may be playing a part" in the current
Hawaii eruption (the gamma ray connection by the way
for the STORYLINE OF LOST begins around Season 2. The
scriptwriters can't put an actual gamma ray CGI in the
script since it wouldn't be understood...so IMHO they
opted to do GAMMA RAY BURSTS using "flashes of light"
and link to what they call "geomagnetic energy" (which
is actually pretty close to GRBs anyways!)

Here is a screen shot of the LOST characters suffering
one of the dozens of "flashes" in the storyline I believe
represent remote viewers catching Gamma Ray events in
the future:

empPULSElost
In a dramatized version of what an EMP pulse from an
extreme gamma ray burst GRB might be like to experience
on Earth--this "LOST" episode (Season 5, but also hinted
about in the first Season) catches the drama on screen--
we can see the remote viewer's events in real-time. Good
references to the GRB which caused the Sumatra Quake 90
days following the first season of LOST at these links:

AS FAR AS "PROVING" Gamma Ray Bursts could be driving
the Hawaii eruption (in concert with other forces such
as solar flares, etc.)...You just need to read the article
at this link. The 2004 December 26th Sumatra Quake and
Tsunami which killed 240,000 has been PROVEN to have been
caused by the largest gamma ray burst (gravitational wave)
on record. I'm NOT just making this stuff up, you know.
I DID POST THIS IN THE INTRODUCTION MATERIAL...We have had
4 very large gamma ray bursts detected by the Swift Telescope
in then past week...so yes, it is a logical catalyst.

In his 1983 Ph.D. dissertation, Paul LaViolette called attention to terrestrial dangers of Galactic core explosions, pointing out that the arrival of the cosmic ray superwave they produced would be signaled by a high intensity gamma ray burst which would also generate EMP effects (e.g., see Page 3). He also noted that a strong gravity wave might be expected to travel forward at the forefront of this superwave and might be the first indication of a superwave's arrival. He pointed out that such gravity waves could induce substantial tidal forces on the Earth during their passage which could induce earthquakes and cause polar axis torquing effects.

[Please note, the gravity potential gradient associated with a stellar explosion or core explosion would drop off in intensity inversely with distance traveled (according to 1/r), and would not drop off as the inverse cube of distance as some have claimed on the internet. That is, it does not have a force-distance dependence similar to the lunar tidal force. So the impact would be quite significant. The mathematics are worked out in the above reference.]

In his book Earth Under Fire (as well as in his dissertation), LaViolette presents evidence showing that the superwave that passed through the solar system around 14,200 years ago had triggered supernova explosions as it swept through the Galaxy. Among these were the Vela and Crab supernova explosions whose explosion dates align with this superwave event horizon. He points out that these explosions could be explained if a gravity wave accompanied this superwave, it could have produced tidal forces which could have triggered unstable stars to explode as it passed through.

Much more at the link...read the whole article as it
covers the Sumatra quake and how GRBs can "drive" quakes
and tsunamis on the Earth.

cheers
