Hollywood is hardly about the art of cinema the love of theater. Just like the NFL is hardly about the love of the sport (these days). if it ever was is another conversation.

It isn't about watching the movies the sport. it is about these people who walk around like they are gods. And they really don't do a whole lot but make more money than everybody else and because of this consume more shit. Have monthly award shows for themselves so we can watch them on tv. It is more about the award shows than it is about theater. cinema. Getting all dressed up having everybody take their pictures like again they are gods. They don't ever ask themselves if it is really justified do they?
