We tell our kid who has sensory processing issues that the world doesn't care about their issues or feelings. We tell him that our family always will but it's also our job to make sure he can cope and deal with and succeed with the real world, in realist situations.

True, and there are many others who got into teaching to honestly help children and our nation's future.

The sadness I feel cannot be expressed adequately in words about the state of education...

When I went to a parent/teacher conference once for one of my kids, I had to wait in the hall for a few minutes so I was looking at all of the projects on the walls.

I had found my daughters and then started looking at all of the others. When the teacher finally appeared, I asked her if she counts off at all when it is so obvious that the parents did their projects for them.

She said she did not.

So, my kids have been competing with adults work since they were in grade school.

Parents take orders from their kids now days, I've never seen anything like it.

Why do school administrators allow students to continually sexually harass teachers????

MUCH of society's IDIOCRASY when it comes to rearing kids these days ORIGINATES with the overwhelmingly STACKED DECKs of MARXIST EDUCRATS.

Children are seen by many of the left (and other retards) to be just tiny adults with all the wisdom, knowledge and common sense that a middle aged ADULT possesses. WRONG!! That is what parents and teachers DO and until that is accomplished and that includes discipline - kids are mostly brainless, directionless little twerps who see nothing wrong with sticking a fork in an electrical outlet or chasing a ball into heavy traffic.

In many schools teachers are lecturing kids on what parents are NOT allowed to do to them if they are mean, bad or ignore / defy instruction. These "progressives" think they are doing the kids a huge favour by telling them if their parents lays a hand on them they can call the police and have the parents arrested and taken away.

THAT MAY sound pretty stupid to generations of kids who had trouble SITTING for a few days if they defied parents OR teachers but it seems there is NO LIMIT as to the imbecilic advice that parents and teachers are getting these days to further fuk things up.

Especially if the class is "gifted" LOL...so obvious...the teacher knows from what the child does in class versus what they bring in from home that's supposed to be their own work.

If the issues from dealing with students and parents aren't enough, the administrators are the icing on the cake of crap teachers are forced to eat.

Flordi-duh's majority Republican legislature, as part and parcel of their retribution on teachers for the idiotic union's blind allegiance to the Democratic Party, now have empowered principals to use evaulations as economic weapons...the "highly effective" rating now equals bonuses to the favorites of those within their little fiefdoms. Especially if the teacher did well on their HIGH SCHOOL SATs...to the tune of up to 8,000 bucks...

What's well and truly sickening is some of these principals is their admitting that they have been told they can only rate some of the teachers as highly effective...so no matter how hard you work, it doesn't matter if they don't like you for whatever reason or if they don't like you well enough, that's that...no bonus for you...it was written up in the Palm Beach Post earlier this year about the absurdity of the evaluation system...some schools having no highly effective, yet some schools have all teachers with that rating...and the way an evaulation can literally be falsified and if you try to stand up for yourself, you get the crap assignments, duties and extra work that you can't get out of...that's just one district out of many in FL (and in other states elsewhere)that use the Marzano system that is systemically nuking the teaching profession...no wonder new teachers don't last more than 4 years or so...

Not to mention the bullying, intimidation and micro managing on a daily basis....to say nothing of Common Crap and testing that is a complete waste of time and energy....

The unspeakable heartbreak is it doesn't have to be this way...these kids are our future...what's to become of us?

As a father with a daughter with severe adhd, this teacher is my worst nightmare. We have allowed our children to be flooded with environmental toxins which is completely altering many children’s neurological development. I can tell you first hand, the “discipline” she appears to be referring to is the exact opposite of what many of our children need. ADHD, autism and other neurological disorders don’t respond to the old school discipline that this uneducated teacher is calling for. She is ignorant. You cannot have a one size fits all approach to teaching. If I had to guess, this “teacher” has been doing it for a long time and refuses to adjust to the modern day child who is constantly bombarded with chemical toxins in their food, vaccines, dirt, grass, sky etc.

She is a disservice to our future and needs to retire ASAP.

some teachers are awesome .. some of them are just straight up hot heads and others are just down right bitter...

my daughter just graduated Pre-school last friday. Today, we are 4 words into a sentence she is learning to read. Every 2 days, she gets a word, then has to use it in a sentence verbally, then has to write it down. she dont know what the word is going to be before she gets it. So far, she can spell, write, and use them in a sentence. Then, she gets a prize on Friday. Got her PeppaPigs playground, she is going to be pumped up.

I explained to her, just like my 21 and 17yr olds, the more I teach you, the less the teacher has to be focused on you, and can help others that have problems.

The teachers are information relayers, simple as that. When a parent teaches listening skills, and focus skills early in your seeds life, it makes it easier to understand relayed information, and what the Teachers main duty is..

The problem is social media, and "Look at me" persona kids are dealing with today.

Not many think for themselves. Many look right, and go with what the right is doing. Lack of Leadership, lack of courtesy, lack of desire to be morally better then the next human.

I can tell your future by watching someone simply cross the street.

YOUR time is not more important then mine, Get your dam ass across the street. Footdraggers, and slowwww, " You can wait on me" mentality, WILL GET YOU NO WHERE!!!

But if you put a dang hamburger and a large fry on the other corner, i bet they'd run then.

My kids, if crossing a street, and cars are waiting on them, HUSTLE!! It shows consideration of others.

Schools have always been like this, teachers always had to face these things, but consequences are nile.

Now add the Music, the Social Media, the fake news, the fake friends, ALLLLLL the followers you have that you HAVE to top and showoff too, "look At me" on your stupid little handheld cancer makers, the Movies, the commercials, the drugs, the PRESSURE. To appease the people that know everything about you, but few give a shit about you.

Its very easy to get influenced in a short period of time no-a-days. You can go from having no knowledge of a scenario, to being full blast Pro-scenario within minutes. The pipeline of information is instant, and not " thru the grape vine" anymore. the Brains of this generation is easily overtaken, by either Likes, or Comments in text, and not thru vocals.

There is no dang reason, a teacher should have to say, " be quite please", 50 TIMES!!! No excuse, other then, Your Parents didnt do their job. You had no outside influence to tell you, " Listen the first time",,, And/Or consequences are nothing<, OR your showing off to the others, that your a cool rebellious individual, that will end up in jail, on welfare, homeless or dead, and dont give a shit about other PEOPLE DANG TIME, Because TIME is all we have, and TIME is what makes the world go round. And until people, understand, Time is of value, maybe they will consider, Theirs is just as important as Yours.

I'm a teacher and get hit up for sex several times a week from students. It's sad and appalling. Nobody is willing to tell these students its wrong. I'm going to make a career change as I can't teach these abusive kids any longer. It's not just me but other teachers as well. Nobody wants to hear about these students

Truth be told they do have to be that way to control the kids. If you aren't assertive and "bossy" the kids run all over you and they control the class.

Tell their parents.

Take a good look at the study's done since they took God away in schools in 1963. Separation of God & state meant let the devil in! New laws take time to ferment and they are ripe today. We are living in a truly godless society...like what your seeing?

We need to reverse these laws for the good of the children! It's just a start though, these kids today need serious discipline!!!

Hey- maybe teachers need body cams. I'm alright with that. Parent's need a reality check.

Caveat. It should NEVER be made public without consent of the student only after they become of legal age and even then, all other faces should be blurred.

We left Europe long ago because of a king that abused his power. We've actually done pretty good with our freedom in the last 250 years. We rose to the top of all nations because of our freedom. We liberated many countries in world war 1 & 2 including Europe itself. I think we've done pretty good.

The problem is as a free nation the leftist scum have created laws in our nation that have given rise to no God in schools, no God anywhere! They have also taken away the ability of parents to discipline their children in a way that keeps them from getting to the point of shooting people! Discipline is essential! My children were brought up with...if you fuck up, there will be a reckoning.

IMHO, they need more teachers and schools. Instead of 30 to 1 it needs to be 15 to 1. Too many children with special needs to have the size of the classrooms we had in the old days.
