Here, a male bus driver recently caught public attention for wearing a skirt at work.

The company dress code forbade men from wearing shorts at work. Only trousers or the female version of driver uniform (with a skirt) were acceptable. He chose to drive in the women's uniform. The feedback for the driver was totally positive and the company got a bad rep.

in South Africa, it is customary for boys to wear shorts and even go barefoot to school, and we're talking Afrikaner (white) kids. The weather in most places is warmer there than the U.K. and common sense prevails in school attire.
