This is a good day in Trumps list of successes, but if a couple of months before the next election Trump is to do something truly boneheaded, then his chance of reelection will be limited. In two years most folks will have forgotten about today, unless they are reminded by the two Koreas becoming one. One cannot expect that a treaty signed today will equate to a election victory in a couple of years. |

Most people are pretty pleased with him overall and sick of the BS of the Deep State pushing Russian collusion and trotting out Stormy freaking Daniels. Personally, I don't think international summits will secure his next term. If he instructs the DEA to deschedule cannabis, THAT will do it. The economic effects on that would be wonderful, and the prisons losing nonviolent "offenders" would have a very positive effect on the national psyche. People will generally remember what effects them and their loved ones the most, not international/foreign policy. Speaking for myself, I'm generally pleased with him, although the bump stock thing seriously pisses me off.
