The Hungarian parliament has passed a law which aims to clear several thousand homeless people off the streets of Budapest and other towns.

The government says the law is designed to help the homeless, and that there are enough places in homeless shelters.

But critics deny that, and say the law criminalises the homeless, who could face community work, fines or even imprisonment.

Homeless often have mental issues, thats why they sleep on the street.

It doesn't mean there is nothing available for them.

it would be better to require people to carry and show documentation of their right to be in the country, either citizenship or visa etc

and make it customary for police to frequently request to see those documents, especially by reason of profiling based on appearance or behavior

mind control torture can be a reason why they avoid shelters ... living in a permanent structure makes targeting with directed energy microwave/radiowave radiation easier because the equipment can usually be placed in the same building or an adjacent one

it would be a simple matter to have people who claim they are being attack MRI scanned, X-Rayed for implants, and appropriate diagnostic equipment made available to police to detect these attacks

I've known what it is like to be homeless for 22 weeks through no fault of my own. My apartment in a duplex was sold to a guy who made his money selling stolen cars. He kicked the disabled woman in a wheelchair out of the front apartment then let it to gangsters who turned it into a crack factory, bribing the police and flooding Gatineau with crack cocaine. I have 8 burgularies in 7 weeks. They took everything. The police came round, angry that I was disrupting their business and they told me to leave permanently. I rented a new apartment with all my remaining cash, but when I went to move in, the new landlord had changed the locks and pocketed 3 months rent plus deposit, Despite living in my car, I continued to run my business and never claimed a penny in social welfare. However, to finally screw me over, the police turned up and tried to declare my car unroadworthy to have it sent to the breakers yard - fortunately, they filled in the wrong owner on the notice. I wrote a screenplay on a local bar's computer and managed to get it optioned and that got me off the streets.

My heart goes out to the homeless not least to the bigotry against them.

Why should someone does not claim welfare and is self-employed, running a successful business, but is homeless be forced to shutter it to do "community service"?

You pretty much have to experience it to know the bigotry.

The fact is that once you become homeless, at one end the sharks move in to rip you off, to take your cash for renting a new apartment that they never actually give you... whilst at the other, there is a deluge of bigots, particularly liberals, trying to send you to mental hospitals and shelters and those trying to force you into "community work' EVEN THOUGH you already have a well paying job.

Jesus was homeless, and besides that every settler was homeless in order to build a new nation.

It´s a pity that Orban comes from a terrible Hungarian Roma-Gypsy family, but that´s how it is, or that´s how desensitized he is!
