With all the recent planetary wide volcanic activity it is wise I suppose to go out their and check Canada's coastal submerged but active volcanoes...

This following report pretty much blows off the fact they are sending an expedition to sample and monitor volcanic activity. Think The ring of fire and a Hawaii like volcanic event along the west coast....

This just came up on the radar. Seamounts – underwater mountains that rise from the sea floor... The expedition is going to look at one that is home to an active volcano...

The volcanoes at mid-ocean ridges alone are estimated to account for 75% of the magma output on Earth.

The total number of submarine volcanoes is estimated to be over 1 million, of which some 75,000 rise more than 1 km above the seabed.

Islanders will be able to livestream underwater video from the Bowie/SGaan-Kinghlas seamount next month when a research expedition explores the ecosystem on the submarine volcano.

From July 5 to 21

Not sure why it only says Islanders can watch it. They say there will be live video and of course pics of the updates through out the expedition.

If a ring of them go off they would alter seas and skies.

Last month there was this in Alaska:

A moderate explosion occurred at the volcano this morning (21:49 yesterday local time), detected by local seismic and infrasound sensors, the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) reported.

It generated an ash plume that rose to 22,000 ft (6.7 km) altitude and drifted southeast. No other significant activity was recorded.
