You did not mention your prescription requirements my vision means that I am nearsighted in one eye and far sighted in the other with astigmatism in both eyes. When I cannot find my glasses, the use my spare glasses and a flashlight to find my current prescription glasses has worked 100% of the time.

Typically place my glasses in an area easily forgotten as I can watch television easily without glasses. Have discovered using a flashlight will illuminate my glasses location due to the light intensity even during daylight hours.

Suspect your callous response is due to either you require the use of glasses 24/7 or you do not wear glasses however many of us require glasses only for reading or other situations that do not require glasses 24/7 and we take our glasses off when not needed.
