Heather Locklear was reportedly hospitalized on Sunday after she threatened to kill herself.

TMZ reported the Ventura County Fire Department responded to a call at Locklear’s home from a family member who dialed 911 and expressed concern for the “Melrose Place” star’s safety.

The Ventura County Fire Department confirmed a call was made concerning an incident on Sunday but would not identify the individual involved, citing HIPAA laws.

“There was a call to the 4900 block of Summit View Drive on Sunday,” a public information officer told Fox News. “We did respond to that address yesterday at 3:55 in the afternoon.”

A source close to Heather tells us the 56-year-old was agitated during the day, so her parents went over to her home. We’re told that’s when Locklear got violent, choking her mother and hitting her father. Her mother called the police.

Earlier this year, Locklear was arrested for domestic violence in an incident involving her boyfriend. She also attacked a police officer who responded, saying she would shoot any officers who came to hear home in the future.

How many people have had their lives destroyed by Hollywood and fame?

Money and fame is which some person is treated like an idol is completely phony. They know it too. And when the studios stop calling and offering new projects, then their realize their lives are worthless.

They have spent the majority of money on their agent and security and then typically lose their money to criminals posing as investment advisers.

They then cannot find a lasting martial relationship that is healthy. Their children are all screwed up. And they are broke and forgotten.

Fame is a curse. Do you know what Marilyn Monroe said? "I am miserable most of the time." Not once did she find true contentment in romance and friendship. Those who were leaches took her money and gave her bad advice and encouraged her to take drugs. So she died of this.

And yet we encourage kids to take drama and music knowing that they will be preyed upon and abused. Instead, they could use that talent for GOD or their community and do wonderful things. These are valid talents as music and drama are powerful to convey truth and meaning and inspire.
