Section 1. Policy. It is the policy of this Administration to rigorously enforce our immigration laws. Under our laws, the only legal way for an alien to enter this country is at a designated port of entry at an appropriate time. When an alien enters or attempts to enter the country anywhere else, that alien has committed at least the crime of improper entry and is subject to a fine or imprisonment under section 1325(a) of title 8, United States Code. This Administration will initiate proceedings to enforce this and other criminal provisions of the INA until and unless Congress directs otherwise. It is also the policy of this Administration to maintain family unity, including by detaining alien families together where appropriate and consistent with law and available resources. It is unfortunate that Congress’s failure to act and court orders have put the Administration in the position of separating alien families to effectively enforce the law.

Sec. 2. Definitions. For purposes of this order, the following definitions apply:

(a) “Alien family” means

(i) any person not a citizen or national of the United States who has not been admitted into, or is not authorized to enter or remain in, the United States, who entered this country with an alien child or alien children at or between designated ports of entry and who was detained; and

(ii) that person’s alien child or alien children.

(b) “Alien child” means any person not a citizen or national of the United States who

(i) has not been admitted into, or is not authorized to enter or remain in, the United States;

(ii) is under the age of 18; and

(iii) has a legal parent-child relationship to an alien who entered the United States with the alien child at or between designated ports of entry and who was detained.

Sec. 3. Temporary Detention Policy for Families Entering this Country Illegally. (a) The Secretary of Homeland Security (Secretary), shall, to the extent permitted by law and subject to the availability of appropriations, maintain custody of alien families during the pendency of any criminal improper entry or immigration proceedings involving their members.

(b) The Secretary shall not, however, detain an alien family together when there is a concern that detention of an alien child with the child’s alien parent would pose a risk to the child’s welfare.

(c) The Secretary of Defense shall take all legally available measures to provide to the Secretary, upon request, any existing facilities available for the housing and care of alien families, and shall construct such facilities if necessary and consistent with law. The Secretary, to the extent permitted by law, shall be responsible for reimbursement for the use of these facilities.

(d) Heads of executive departments and agencies shall, to the extent consistent with law, make available to the Secretary, for the housing and care of alien families pending court proceedings for improper entry, any facilities that are appropriate for such purposes. The Secretary, to the extent permitted by law, shall be responsible for reimbursement for the use of these facilities.

(e) The Attorney General shall promptly file a request with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California to modify the Settlement Agreement in Flores v. Sessions, CV 85-4544 (“Flores settlement”), in a manner that would permit the Secretary, under present resource constraints, to detain alien families together throughout the pendency of criminal proceedings for improper entry or any removal or other immigration proceedings.

Sec. 4. Prioritization of Immigration Proceedings Involving Alien Families. The Attorney General shall, to the extent practicable, prioritize the adjudication of cases involving detained families.

Sec. 5. General Provisions. (a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:

(i) the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or

(ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.

(b) This order shall be implemented in a manner consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

“ABC News issued an apology Wednesday after a banner during a live report claimed that former Donald Trump aide Paul Manafort had admitted to killing five people.

The network covered President Donald Trump’s afternoon meeting live in anticipation of his announcement that he was issuing a directive to end the practice of separating parents and children caught crossing the border illegally.

During the ABC broadcast, the banner briefly displayed the chyron “Manafort pleads guilty to 5 charges of manslaughter.” While the former Trump campaign manager is in jail after his bail was revoked, he has not pleaded guilty to any crimes and has not been charged with manslaughter.

In a series of tweets, ABC News apologized for the error and promised to get the bottom of why the graphic appeared.”

what ticks me off about this is ONE they are here illegally and the American Taxpayer is forced to foot the bill for their illegal behavior. PMO ! Two- Democrats are cheering illegals crossing, it causes major problem then they are screaming at Trump to fix their mess Instantly without a law that makes sense and not a band-aid which Dems are so fond of.

Remember Obama encouraging illegals to cross and vote ?

No joke LW they are really pushing the envelope today!!! Now it’s these families are going to be housed in military housing until their cases can be addressed…………..Isn’t that better than being on the street with no food, bedding or bathroom facilities. Just shows you they won’t be satisfied unless the floodgates are wide open. They are hoping to make this an issue from now until doomsday.
My husband has been telling me for years that these people HATE America and want to destroy her. Well I refused to believe that could be possible, but they are showing their true colors. I hope more people are waking up to this reality while we still have a chance to correct it.
I still have faith in President Trump and know he will never give up the fight!!!! I pray for his safety and hope more people will realize the harm in our lack of border protection.

Where did the –“disciplining a child is child abuse” idea come from?
…..

The Hand that Rocked the Cradle: A Critical Analysis of Rockefeller Philanthropic Funding, 1920-1960
That was what all the trumped up charges against Daycares was all about.
Problem — Reaction –- Solution
— Got to create the problem to get people to hand over more control of their lives. In this case control of your children.

References for the trumped up charges against Daycares:
The Fells Acres Nightmare from Mark Pendergrast, Victims of Memory: Sex Abuse Accusations and Shattered Lives (2nd edition)

The “Little Rascals” ritual abuse case in Edenton, NC
“In the Little Rascals day-care-abuse case in North Carolina, one mother told reporters that it took 10 months before her child was able to “reveal” the molestation. No one at the time considered the idea that the child might have been remarkably courageous to persist in telling the truth for so long.” Carol Tavris

The Cases:
These charges relate to the Little Rascal’s Day Care in Edenton. It is perhaps the second most famous day care ritual abuse case in North America (after the McMartin Preschool in CA.) [Note it started in Californicate. SURPRIZE!] The PBS program Frontline has produced a series of three powerful documentary episodes on this case, called Innocence Lost. It showed that the various ingredients of a typical MVMO abuse case were present in Edenton:

* no physical evidence that any actual abuse or killing happened.

* hysteria by the parents, investigators and general public.

* lack of evidence which would have been present if the children had actually been abused.

* the alleged abuse happened even as parents were coming to and fro during the day; nobody noticed anything strange at the day care center.

* the children initially denied that anything “funny” happened at the day care; but the interviewers did not believe the children.

* after months of extensive interviewing, using what are now known to be manipulative, suggestive techniques, children started to disclose abuse events. This was assisted by communications among parents who also grilled their children.

* all of the documentation and tapes of the children’s initial interviews were lost or destroyed.

* testimony described a long string of physically impossible or highly improbable events.

* nobody seems to have asked the logical question: how could 7 to 20 adults form a conspiracy and abuse children hundreds of times, without any child complaining or without any parent noticing something amiss? [….]

House Republicans Still Divided on Immigration Bills After Donald Trump Meeting
[link to www.breitbart.com]

Excerpt:

“In his remarks, he endorsed both House immigration bills,” Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah said in a statement sent to Breitbart News. “He told the members, ‘I’m with you 100%.’”

Shah claimed that both bills would fund the wall, close legal loopholes, cancel the visa lottery, curb chain migration and solve both the border crisis and family separation.

Some supporters of the Ryan bill had hoped that Trump would fully endorse their bill and urge conservatives to support it, as the measure has a greater chance of passing with the support of moderate Republicans.

But Trump did not signal a preferred bill, allowing every Republican to vote as they pleased.

The socialist Left is going to get somebody injured or killed.

We are in very dangerous waters, and the psychologically unstable lunatics who comprise the anarchist Marxists are being goaded and INCITED to violence. Just read the comments here:

Yes. They are working themselves into a frenzy of hate on social media, fed by the partisan media for profit. If the Repubs don’t pass some kind of bill, change the situation down at the border to take this off the radar, there will be violence –assassinations.

They can’t pass a bill. Schumer said he will block it. This is not going to end well.

If Schumer and the dems block a reasonable bill, the POTUS needs to consider declaring a national emergency (like he did for human trafficking) and taking matters into his own hand. We are long past emergency status where illegal immigration is concerned.

Declaring a national emergency doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t change the law.

If this continues, I fear someone will be injured or killed. On Twitter, people are releasing 1,500 names of ICE employees. In Portland, DHS needed armed security to escort their employees. DSA & Antifa are actively targeting, stalking, and harassing administration officials.

Trump had BETTER be protecting his people. Every single one of these communist domestic terrorists had better be under investigation.

By law, Trump cannot deploy military inside the country. Only the National Guard, which is currently being recalled by Governors.
