Just watched Nadler. Was his intent to make the American people turn off the hearing?

He was nasty, mumbled something about changing the hearing, mumbled something about the committee subpoena being illegal and the committee not entitled to the information. Mumbled something about the tired investigation of her and the POTUS being investigated by mueller.

Nasty stuff, very nasty.

That's concerning and jordan said last night that he wasn't sworn in but it's illegal to lie to congress and the other guests and the hosts all looked at him and said "no" so people are losing their patience with this entire debacle.

The one takeaway of the stroke hearing was the fact that he declined to answer some questions based on the fact that the lawyers from the fbi told him not to answer. Not his own attorneys, the fbi attorneys. Let that sink in.

I'm so sick of these worthless hearings. Here's a preview for everyone:

Wray (whiny voice): All I can tell you is that the men and women of the FBI are the greatest, non political, non biased, hardest working, dedicated, faithful, smartest people on the planet and if you met them you would think so to.

Rosenstein (arrogant voice, clicking his lips and sniffling): Those matters are under review by the intelligence committee and I can't speak about it publicly, what I can do is assure everyone that I wll provide access to the committee with whatever they need to answer your questions.

That's it, no need to even watch the bullshit.

Here's the problem. We have three co equal branches of government. The Executive, The Judicial and The Congress. The Congress is responsible for oversight of the others just as the others are responsible for the oversight of Congress, it's called checks and balances and it is very important for the healthy functioning of our constitutional democratic republic.

So, the fact that the fbi/doj cabal aren't giving the Congress the information, the texts, the explanations they've asked for should concern every American, regardless of party affiliation.

You are probably right. And, this is wrong. They should not be stonewalling as they are.

Eventually the American people will begin to get angry and start calling and sending emails, cards and letters to their congressmen and senators and to the Executive branch demanding that they release all this information for the public to review.

They'll even be petitions on the WH website.

That "checks and balances" system was destroyed some time ago. The level of corruption that has enveloped our governmental institutions is wholly fortified and cannot be reversed. Too late now.
