I think the Seth Material by Jane Roberts is INFINITESIMALLY superior to the Law Of One books.
I got gang-stalked out of Canada for spouting Seth's ideas:
"Thou shall NOT violate!"
"The ends do NOT justify the means."
"The real meaning of success is inner integrity."
Than this convoluted, word-salad of a series of books.
It is no wonder you see many peddling this book on the "alternative" community full of GATE-KEEPERS.
These books - THE LAW OF ONE - is of such nature.
Quoting: NewEarth 5D 76736332 Any teachings with "thou shalt not..." Is flawed, as it violates free will. It is not shallow as your criticism of it! "The purpose of "natural guilt" was as a preventative measure: "Any previous acts that had aroused feelings of natural guilt were to be avoided in the future." "Any violation against nature would bring about a feeling of guilt so that when a like situation was encountered in the future, man would, in that moment of reflection, not repeat the same action." NPR - session 635 and prior Seth always talks about free-will. He says "Thou shall not violate" as a joke for consideration AS ANOTHER ONE OF GOD'S COMMANDANT!!I do not criticize intentionally. If I came across that way, I apologise. I simply believe them to be a distortion of the truth. I don't claim to be right, or claim that " my book is bigger than your book" or anything of that nature. Just one man's opinion. I'm sorry if I've offended you or your beliefs.
