3 weeks of non-voluntary jumping through time, sort of like time colliding with itself, and being in current time and past time, sometimes future time.

You don't want to know.

Re: The strangest thing to ever happen to you? Supernatural, paranormal, or "coincidental"..
I'm having a crazy thing happen right now actually.

My 14 year old kitty died one year ago today. My boyfriend and I met the week I got her. She was our fur baby. Her passing was devastating, and we went away camping for the days after until July 4th. We ended up in a town in Maine and every encounter and everything that happened to us was so weird that he joked we were in Twin Peaks. I had actually been on a Twin Peaks binge watch right before all this, unbeknownst to him.

When we got home and I looked at my map to point out to my friend where we had hiked, I realized that we were in the valley under Twin mountain.

So my boyfriend and I broke up today, and I am a total wreck. I needed to zone out tonight, so I put on a show I found on Amazon. It's a french show, and it seemed dark and moody, which was what I wanted. It's totally like Twin Peaks, I mean as much as any show could be. Down to the town welcome sign.

I paused it just now because I got weirded out when one of the characters in this french show was wearing the sweatshirt of were my sister went to school (a state college in New England), and then there was a scene that looked just like my kitchen from when my boyfriend and I met, with the same very distinctive peeling patterned wallpaper.

Very strange feelings today. Very sad.

Lot's of coincidences that can't be attributed to chance.

Looking back at my life, there are several events where I should have died.. I remember the events, but no memory of time right after said event.

It's like I was simply plugged back into the matrix.

I remember one time trying to merge unto the highway where there was road construction.. A semi appeared on my left and I was running out of road and there was nothing but those concrete barriers to my right.. I was going to be crushed.
Next thing I remember is driving casually down the road.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76715868

Oh wow, was there any missing time involved that you can remember?
One possible explanation is that rather than die, you shifted into the next nearest alternate dimension where you didn't crash and circumstances were different.. for some reason

Re: The strangest thing to ever happen to you? Supernatural, paranormal, or "coincidental"..
Many, many, many experiences. Grew up in two different houses that were haunted in the 70's. Some of my first memories are falling asleep in a crib with a gentle voice telling me things. Things that a 1-2 year old shouldn't know. I don't remember specifics right now. But my mom and dad would tell stories of me waking the next morning talking about the things I had heard the night before.
Saw Jesus and the iconic red Devil sitting side by side on kitchen table around this time, I was about 3 years old. No church or religion in the house at all so where did that come from? They wanted me to choose between them.

Many experiences like another AC where I should have died. But I "come to" with a foggy memory unable to recall how I got here from there. I've come to the conclusion many times that I am either dead, all of us are dead, or there is no life and death and we are just a collective dream. Then I get sucked back into the world of things and forget about all that stuff until I find another thread like this to jog my memory.

So many stories to tell but I hate walls of text as well. But I'll share more if anyone wants.

One night years ago, I left the bar and got into my car to follow some friends to their house. The road was curvy and it had been raining. The bar was a few miles outside of town, and there was nothing but woods on both sides of the road. The car that I was following was going faster than I was comfortable with, but I sped up a little to keep up with them. All of the sudden I must of hydroplaned, because I lost control, spun in a circle then shot off the road. I landed perfectly in the middle of a small driveway or logging road that came off the main road. It was like I had just pulled over there and parked. I had never noticed this little road before, and certainly didn't aim my car for it. I sure felt lucky that day. By all rights I should of hit one of the many trees along the road. I always just felt like it was some odd good luck.

There was this dog that started coming by my house. I liked him and he liked me A LOT! He would get excited when he saw me outside and come running, and would sit in my lap like a baby. He was a short-ish, squat black lab. I didn't know who he belonged to. One time, I asked him, "what is your name?" In my head, I immediately heard "Alfredo", and it looked like he was actually smiling at me (with his tongue hanging out and his tail wagging like mad). So, I called him "Alfredo".

Months later, I was sitting on the porch in my front yard petting this dog, and I saw a man walking on the sidewalk a ways down. He was looking around, yelling "Alfredo". The dog heard the man and ran to him!

I never saw the dog again! This is all true.

A De Javu will always and always will be the strangest times. Moments I had were like I know what the person will say, do, what objects will be touched, etc.

I mean come on, everytime they happen I tried my best if I sort of dreamed of such moments. But man, mostly I sat still and watch the things unfold Exactly how I expect them to be.

Just ridiculous every fcking time.

Re: The strangest thing to ever happen to you? Supernatural, paranormal, or "coincidental"..
Many strange things have happened through the years, here is one of the least controversial...

Some years ago me and my wife was out shopping. Parked the car, she was going in one direction and I was heading in the opposite direction to another store. I was like 10 yards on my way when I heard her say something far behind me... as I turned my head in her direction to ask what she said I realized my right hand just had made a perfect catch from behind... of the car keys she says she asked me to catch!

At least two things are weird here. 1) why did she throw the car keys in my direction without first making sure I had a chance to catch them, and 2) how is it possible to catch something right from behind without seeing it?

It was not like the car keys just happened to land in my hand by pure chance, it was a coordinated arm/hand movement that required a catching move a bit away from my body.

We just stood there and scratched our heads... what happened here? Still have no reasonable explanations. Possibly I could have heard some tiny sounds from the approaching object and the body subconsciously calculated the trajectory and expected ETA and POI in 4D space... but it sounds farfetched to say the least. Or maybe our nervous systems are intertwined at some implicit level, just two physical manifestations of the same underlying being? Maybe she knew that I was going to catch the keys and made it happen somehow.

My husband saw some kind of monster in the Pennsylvania backwoods. Pale skin, no hair, gator-like teeth, very clearly humanoid.

He and a buddy were out by a place by the river at night in Tioga county to have a couple of beers and spar with swords. It came up behind the other dude like it was stalking him.

They both freaked out, yelled a lot, it reared up a little, raising its arms/claws in the air in some kind of threat display. Their response was to scream obscenities at it, and swing their swords around wildly. It got the hell out of there. You don't mess with hillbillies with swords.

It wasn't metaphorical at all.

It started out with whispers, and then I'd wake up feeling like someone was breathing on my face.

Then things went really strange. I'd turn on the TV and every channel would be showing 60's 70's or 80's shows. I know that there are reruns, but this was different.
Even the commercials were from a different time.

I went to the doctor's office one day, and all of the magazines were from the early 1980's. How many doctor's offices keep 30 year old magazines in their office?

The people in the waiting room at the Dr.'s office were all wearing 80's clothing, and had hair styles from the same era.

They were looking at me weird.

It get's a lot stranger, and it's difficult to even put it into words. I saw some future events as well. Honestly scared to talk about it.

I became a vibrating energy being, vibrating in Bliss. I had no consciousness (awareness) of what I am. I was enveloped in white light. I had no language nor any awareness of anything on earth. I believe this is called nirvana, but that is just a word, and no words or language can describe what it is. I believe in some way it is when a person becomes what the holy spirit is. No one can tell you about it because it is beyond anything we know.

Strangest thing happened to me last year in June 2017

I was making a call cousin in Australia, and suddenly the line went funny, and I could overhear 2 guys discussing something random (like a bad line etc). One had an Aussie accent, but one was either British or accent not as strong...

"location, [then the guy repeated some coordinates] 'end location"

he said this around 5 times while the other guy listened

then "satellite location" [followed by numbers]
"satellite identifier" [more numbers]

date: 07.03.2014, date: 08.03.2014, date... and so on

then the guy who was quiet said 'roger that'

then fuckin creepy as shit a song called 'Land Down Under' started playin and I listened till then end then the line went dead

and then phone started ringing like normal and cousin picked up like nothin fuckin happened !!!

 Quoting: Obnoxious Pakistani UK 76699243

If I were to use my imagination to try to explain that, I'd say that somehow your phone line got crossed with some government types, but in some alternative timeline. A glitch perhaps, as they say. The fabric of our reality is much less concrete than most would believe.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 60555180

A lot of people don't know this, but the US government has their own ATT hardlines. As in they don't intercept with the lines common folk use.

Is LSD supernatural? Or getting a kind of revelation from Bach?

Lsd, never again, Bach always, until I die.

What about dreams?

Once I dreamed a cow was killed. She screamed so very loud and helpless! They (?) cut her leggs of. But I still saw the fire in her head...like some burning coles. It felt like a nightmare...and I was wide awake after.

I had an operation in the hospital for six hours.

It was not sure if I could get pregnant. But a year later my son was born.

I am sure that dream was at least special...

Many things. Strangest, hmm. Saw shadow ghost of fiance after he killed self at my home. Well, before that the curtains, bath towels, etc. all lifted off the walls at once with swoosh sound. Many others saw shadows in that place, even after I left. Wonder how current residents are doing? Can not be too good! I asked him jokingly to come back if he ever passed. to many strange things to mention...however the most recent, Sun night as I was trying to clear my head and just as I entered that light fog stage I was standing in a crowd of people and a man turned to look at me, he was Hispanic or Arabic, I couldn't tell, I could see his dark hair and his dark eyes, sad at first and then wider, like what you going to do about it, he pushed his face right in front of mine....I sat straight up in bed, I knew his intentions were not good...I texted my sister the next morning because I've seen things before and I try not to and this man had me a little shook. When the shooting happened in Maryland and they mentioned the man might be Hispanic my stomach sunk, please don't let it be him, please don't let it be him...it was him

Re: The strangest thing to ever happen to you? Supernatural, paranormal, or "coincidental"..
I have a lot of strange things happen that surpass the labeling of 'Bizarre'.

When I was engaged to my first wife we had a brief moment of telepathy between us. We were sitting on my bed, ready to have a 'Loving' moment and for a few seconds staring at each other I remember in my mind thinking to her 'I love you' and she said 'I love you too' back, only nobody uttered a word. Then at the same time we both verbally acknowledged that moment by yelling 'Did that just happen?'.

About 4 years ago, I had this apartment. It was haunted. I was living there along with nobody in the room. It was around 9pm at night (And I was NOT under the influence of any substances) and I felt something brush my arm, when I looked at it, it was someone else's hand grabbing my wrist. This other 'Hand' was wearing a watch. I haven't worn a watch in over 20 years. I actually felt it and saw this mysterious 'Hand' clear as day. NOBODY BUT ME WAS THERE. I freaked out!

I think the scariest thing that ever happened to me was I was in bed for the night (Same apartment as above) and I was alone. I had a dream that I was trying to be seduced by succubus. Realizing what it was I immediately awoken from my dream and as I sat up I heard a demonic growl and saw the sheets rise by my feet at the end of my bed (While feeling a light gush of hot wind under the covers coming from my crotch area). This scared me so much for the first time since I was like 10 I wanted my mommy. I didn't sleep for 3 days after that.

No I'm not making any of the above up. I wish I was.
