I think multiple people in this thread are right. People get toxic guts overgrown with candida. Which leaves them compromised and unable to fight off other infections.

Viruses are rampant too, we all have lots of them. Some are relatively benign or kept in check by a healthy immune system. But when the immune system is weakened they may cause damage, and symptoms.

One of the better things I've found for cleaning out the guts is Diatomaceous Earth.
