Only a Catholic (or Orthodox) priest can absolve your sins. The personal sanctity or villainy of the individual priest has nothing to do with it.

But it is pointless to argue. The easiest way for you to come to learn the truth of the Catholic Church, is to visit the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist. To do this, you should search your hometown for a Catholic Church which offers Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. This is usually a small chapel that is set aside for 24/7 Adoration and manned by volunteers adorers, ordinary people like you or me who pledge an hour of their day to silent adoration before the blessed Sacrament. These Adoration Chapels are usually open 24/7. I suggest you make a visit.

Having said that if people really want to argue that the RC church is the ONE TRUE CHURCH then they need to ask why the Popes got it wrong about GOOD FRIDAY when clearly that cant be the correct day.

From my perspective the Roman Catholic Church is the Great Light that was created on the Fourth Great Day. A thousand years is a Day to YHWH. The Sun rules over the children of Day but eventually children put away their foolishness and become adults. The children of darkness are ruled by the moon of course, Islam. For the faithless who reject salvation.

You should know the time of the Day by the fact that the Roman Catholic Church has openly stated Yehushuwa was a failure on the cross. The 'Sun' gives no light. Islam is currently murdering all who don't accept their inverse understanding of the light - the moon reflects light and has none of it's own. A reflection is a reverse image. A quick comparison of Christianity to Islam easily shows this. So the moon runs red with blood and the sun gives no light. By this you should know that it is close to the midnight hour. YHWH comes like a thief in the night. Unless you are paying attention you won't be prepared.

Yehushuwa's blood was required to be spilled into the Earth as all are cursed by Adam's transgression. Saying he was a failure is an obvious sign that the Roman Catholic Church rejects the importance of his sacrifice. Didn't YWHW stay Abraham's hand at the last minute when he was commanded to sacrifice his son Isaac? Of course, the One True Elohim would know the beginning from the end. He knew that he would have to sacrifice his only begotten Son so that man could come to know life eternal - from the very beginning. He stayed his hand and instead said that He would provide the sacrifice. Abraham proved that he was willing to sacrifice his son and had faith in YHWH.

Forgiveness is axiomatic to overcoming the curse of the flesh. Without it we are all condemned as all fall short. Accepting Salvation is essential to becoming free from the curse of the flesh. Without that Salvation there would be no promise of life eternal as everyone is in debt to death by their actions that create imbalance and require sacrifice. Nature abhors imbalance. Created from Nothing at all, man can only come to know life eternal by no longer being part of the equation of chaos, nothing. Split nothing into opposite halves and you have the illusion of substance and yet should the equation be simplified, it's nothing. The narrow way between Good and Bad, the narrow door, only need be wide enough for One. There is only the perfect Oneness of Life in eternity where the womb of time and space are no longer needed. YHWH is the father of all that is and all that will be come into being through the Word. Perfect union. Our physical bodies are a union of cells all working together in perfect harmony - when we are healthy at least. America herself began as an effort to come into a more perfect union with the Elohim of Life.

There is only the perfect Oneness of the eternal Kingdom of YHWH or nothing at all. Reality or illusion a duality. Like Union and entropy. Those who engage in dividing and breaking down feed off entropy. Their 'god' is Satan who lives off dust. Dust being the result of breaking down unions. Democrats make good money causing division and strife and eat quite well. Many of them have vast wealth as a result of causing division and hate. They are of the synagogue of Satan and reject Salvation.

Mankind, like a child forming in the physical womb of it's mother, knows only darkness. Faith, hope and Love. Of the three Love is the greatest. While in the darkness we may have faith and hope for the promise of eternal life, but when what is becoming becomes, faith and hope are inactive. Faith in the unseen is no longer active as what is now seen through a glass darkly will be plain as Day. The hope of the world to come will be inactive as well, as it will be. Only Love persists beyond the time of becoming. Without Love we are Nothing. 1 Cor 13. The time to show Faith in the creator is when it isn't obvious. Faith in Salvation and the sacrifice that the creators Son provides.

American jurisprudence is based upon Salvation, at one point it was understood world wide that America was a Christian nation, bringing the Gospel of Salvation to the whole world, and was looked upon with great hope by the people of the world as they knew that America was like no other nation of men. Individual rights and liberty as well as equality of Law were new concepts that the world had never known.

It is now a corporation and has been so since around the time of the civil war when the de jure nation went without a quorum and adjourned sine die. Lincoln created the 15 lieber codes and established military dictatorship. Some would say the nation has been in a state of martial ever since.

I agree with your statement. Yet, you do need the church to be obedient to the command not to forsake the assembling of yourselves together as the manner of some is - Heb 10:25

Also the Lord gave teacher, preachers, etc, as gifts for the perfecting of the Saints - Eph 4. That implies that you should be there.

Again, the pattern set forth in the New Testament is receiving the Word, baptism, being added to the church, and to continue in fellowship and learning. Acts 2:41-42 - gives you 3000 examples of this very thing.

You don’t need the church to be a child of God, but you do need it to be an obedient child of God. Did you ever think that maybe the church needs you? Get in there and help them to be as they ought to be and if you don’t succeed, remember this: God doesn’t reward your success, He blesses your effort.

Edit: By church I don’t mean the Catholic Church. I mean the kind patterned after the New Testament. Local, independent, and holding to the scriptures.

There is so much in the RCC which contradicts point blank the Bible; such as false idolatry depicting Mary, Jesus, the saints. The bible clearly states not to worship statues, paintings, and even carvings of the likeness of Him or anything (and anyone) else. Clear as daylight.

As a person coming off of worldly success (I pushed the pencil on the question not long ago, and I estimate my current annual gross income to be less than SIX PERCENT of my peak a decade ago – and yet, oddly enough, my quality of life is through the roof – funny that!), it is especially painful to live on other people’s money, essentially. Not long after I put a PayPal button up (PayPal lasted as a viable option for just over a year – thank goodness) I was shocked to hear other people who also lived on their PayPal button talk about their donors in contemptuous terms (they called their donors “the rubes”), and the sickening sense of entitlement they openly displayed. I resolved immediately to take steps to somehow, some way, do SOMETHING for my benefactors, and to hopefully keep myself from being destroyed by my own foray into the morally dangerous waters of, gulp, “professional Catholicism”. Shudder..."
