Is your mother still living? What sort of relationship do you have with your cousin, are you close? (I have to say, I've never dreamed of a cousin.) Without more details, I'd say it sounds like an optimistic dream. I wouldn't say the lotto ticket is literal (although if your mother has passed on, I'd be slightly more inclined to interpret it differently). I'd say the lotto ticket just represents some sort of winning or achievement in general, something you really want, and that you think you can reach it, if you only work through whatever layers/issues you have first. Peeling through an onion can be a little unpleasant if it makes one cry, but it's not a huge, herculean task, it's very doable. Which is why I think it's something optimistic overall. Do you have a clear idea of what you're trying to achieve in your life right now? Do you feel you're on the correct path to what you want and that it's eventually achievable? Details can affect the interpretation, and there are elements that only you can answer for yourself. It depends, for instance, on what associations you have with your mother, your cousin, onions, and winning the lotto. And it depends on how the dream made you feel, how you felt when you heard from your mother, etc. Did you feel neutral, positive, elated? |
