VI. 5-8. "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
"And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
"And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and
beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord."

From these verses it will be seen that not only the sons of God were extremely wicked, but that evil had extended throughout the whole human family. Noah, however, found grace in the sight of the Lord; for the text states, "Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."

Wherefore, limited to a habitation of such meagre dimensions as the planet earth, man of Adam’s race would be insignificant were it not for mission other than that of mere existence accompanied by enjoyment of pleasing environments, or aims and ends simply to that effect. As a component part of the one God, however, man was created – called to inhabit the plane earth as an entity – that the inherences vested in him should develop sensation, thereby bringing to light, and establishing, the qualities of these inherences.
