There are some theories that this could be a technical thing. Like they can change and manipulate information in the net on a greater scale at once. That would be a less disturbing explanation after all.

And, yeah, every once in awhile I'll have to fix it, because I wrote "alot," too. Writing it that way for about 35 years is a hard habit to break. It's used...harhar, a lot. I wasn't trying to make a joke...

It really threw me for a loop when all of the sudden everyone was writing "a lot." It took me more than a minute to realize timeline change.
