On Saturday, a female customer at Black Swan Books in Richmond, Virginia, spotted former Trump staffer Steve Bannon browsing the aisles. Bannon, an inveterate book-buyer, is apparently a frequent client at the store. This female customer decided her time had come for 15 minutes of fame, and proceeded to begin berating Bannon, calling him a “piece of trash.” The owner of the store, Nick Cooke, promptly told her that if she didn’t leave, he’d call the police. He explained, “I asked her to leave, and she wouldn’t. And I said, ‘I’m going to call the police if you don’t,’ and I went to call the police and she left. And that’s the end of the story.”
