Quoting: Tilly 75687718 It takes roughly a week to replace your body's entire liquid content so it's safe to say my body is now 70% cola and dr pepper and my cells don't seem to be complaining! If water is really so ''essential'' to life then how come I'm still alive and kicking? Ever read the ingredients of a soda OP? Tell me what the first ingredient is? |

It isn't water because then these people would be dead of an allergic reaction - [link to www.birminghammail.co.uk (secure)] [link to www.bbc.com] [link to www.itv.com] The first one was born with it, while the others suddenly became allergic (like how I suddenly became allergic to milk and peanuts when I was fine with them before). They survive by drinking things like orange juice and milk and the first example has been doing so for 30+ years without a drop of H2O in her body and she's very much alive. |

No hate from me B) Be careful of those artificial sweeteners - 2 weeks isn't much - but if you go too long those artificial sweeteners are known to cause cancers - you're probably safer with water ;) Also water is what our bodies are intended to use, like proper fuel for a machine - the extra crap in soda sort of taints the water if you ask me. Nothing like fresh cool clean water, ahh! :) |

They can have the allergic reaction such as their throat closing up or blistering but that's even rare among the few who have it. When they take certain allergy meds they can drink it and bathe and everything fine. I know because I actually have a friend who has it. She told me if she drinks a ton of water after not drinking it for awhile, if she was not taking certain allergy meds that her throat would close up. She would have to drink it slowly and in small amounts. |

These cases also react internally if they drink water. Here they are again. This time, read them before resorting to petty name calling.
