But cern sensors catch particles that were circling around 30 miles diameter, this is 4 bln. ly!!! In a straight line? No gravity between to bend their trajectories? Neutrinos being very small, rarely hit anything, thereby the straight lines in what appears as an empty path. The detectors pick up muons, from neutrino 'hits.' Thanks. You are kind and patient in your answers and I don't want to confront them cause I know they're truly scientific and regular. But I still have doubts. We already know that photons without any mass are affected with gravity (see: Gravitational lensing), we know that highly energetic gamma ray bursts are coming to Earth through the Galaxy in the same way the Solar storm is coming to our geomagnetic field (see Aurora Borealis and Aurora Polaris... Could that also be related to the position of laboratory on the South Pole?)... But somehow these neutrinos are coming in a straight line from a tiny spot in the sky 4 billion years away.... Doubt. No way reading that without doubt.  Finally a great GLP topic. The neutrino seems to be coming at earth in a straight line? Yet, isn't the earth rotating at 1000's of mph, while spiraling around the sun at 1000's of mph, while the solar system itself is spiraling 1000's of mph thru the galaxy? How about this, something has locked onto the neutrino to target the earth? Isn't there supposed to be a 300 km iron object that was detected 2 miles under the antartic ice? Cool subject! |
