Something Odd in the Job Market ?

I have been looking for work for about a month now. I
I recently interviewed with a top 3 insurance provider and
the description of the job was more or less, get licensed, help
free up Agent to get in the field, and PUSH Financial Services.
I thought ok sounds great but, I keep looking on the job site and I notice
that nearly every office in my area with this co. is hiring for the same position. Not to odd must be a company wide expansion maybe.
As I continued to search for work, other insurance companies are hiring for the exact same position. Nationally known companies all the way down to some obscure company I had never heard of before

Not sure why this is odd to me, but it feels strange that so many unrelated ins. cos are hiring at the same time for the same position. If anyone else feels this is odd or if anyone knows why something like this is occurring please comment.
