Quoting: jake Nobody finds this odd? Yes, it's odd, but they have to determine what's going to allowed to be said and/or revealed in the clear. This also is basic psyops to keep people guessing. They do not want people to come to their own conclusions that could potentially threaten their outcome/judgement. The Republicans knew that Petey Strozk wasn't going to reveal anything of interest from what occurred in the closed door session. So they made him come back and knew he would come off as a pompous ass and Ghomert wanted to shame him in front of the country (and succeeded). That may not have meant much to the Dems and their followers, but it doesn't play well with conservatives and many independents. And, when the time is right, this will be looked back at as another demonstration of what a sleaze he is. As to Lisa Page, there is no reason to trot out a cooperating witness for public humiliation. Strozk wasn't the least embarrassed by his affair. I think she may be and wants to have a life after this. Strozk, on the other hand, is so arrogant he believes he is invincible and will somehow be back at his desk at the Bureau. IMO |

How her answers are so lawyery, how she knows more than FBI lawyers there to help her or something, and stuff like that. I was undert the impression we will learn nothing from her. |

Quoting: Noble Six There is a chance that Lisa Page could've been a undercover mole by the powers that are not with the bad guys. She could've been a plant that was designed to get close to Strzok due to her abiding fear and hatred of POTUS Trump. This would be a very convincing story to a CI weasel like Strzok. Remember, his mission is to uncover spies. That's what CI agents do and Lisa would be in a the unique position to gather intelligence on him. As much as she needed to get. Was she aware of Strok's Iranian ties? Perhaps. I cannot say with any degree of certainty, but she knew exposure would come soon enough and thus she continued until exposure was given. She still lives with her husband. To me, this means either he's a forgiving soul or he's planning divorce proceedings after the smoke settles from this fiasco, or there NEVER was an affair to begin with and he received verification of that from another source that was close to Lisa. Think on that. Could Lisa Page have been a covert operative with a mission to expose Peter Strzok and other other higher ups? I think its possible... |

Let me see if I can find it. Quoting: Daniel Higdon Okay I guess this was covered in an interview that Gohmert gave, but I haven't had a chance to listen to it. From an article discussing what Gohmert said: Gohmert said Page's closed-door testimony in the House on Friday and Monday was at times so frank that FBI lawyers tried to keep her from answering. "There were times the FBI lawyers would be reaching for the button to mute her comment and she would answer before the thing could mute her comment," he said.
