landline phone experts
I live in a multi-unit building circa 1930s.

The building's phone cabinet is right outside my door (basement).

I am having problems with the janitor who has access to technical people. He also knows bent cops.

When I try to call either of my two lawyers on my landline, I get a sound like a busy signal.

I have not blocked these numbers nor have these numbers blocked me.

Verizon has not been able to help.

Does anyone know how my phone is being blocked from my calling my lawyers or how to resolve this? Is there a work-around?

My cell phone was hacked by the same characters.

I cannot get a signal inside. I have to walk about a block away. When I call, I can hear the caller but he cannot hear me.

One lawyer has three numbers.

I get a busy signal on all three.

This has been going on for eleven days.

I start calling at eight A.M. until seven P.M.

If any of this is actually happening..

Go to Walmart, buy a $20 tracfone, buy a $15 airtime card.

Use new cell phone to make the calls..

$35 fix

Or you know, you could use a friends phone..

talk to your local phone or cable guy, you know when they park their van in the neighbourhood.
promise them a bottle of bourbon...

as for your cell phone they probably have a noise box (jammer) in the building too.
find a local ham guy - look for antennas on the roofs- promise him you'll suck him off or something and he'll find it for you..

My brother has had that problem when he calls me on my land line (he uses a cell phone).

My sis & other brother have not had that problem at all (they also use cell phones).

Never did figure out what the problem was.

Negative, friend.
You'll need to purchase a VoIP phone. (You plug an ethernet cable into it, not a landline)

I have no idea where you are, so I can't say for certain that your closest BB will have one, but I'm relatively sure they will.

Note they can be somewhat pricy though.

The cheapest option would be to grab a tracphone as previously mentioned.

Re: landline phone experts
If you have an internet connection and can watch youtube videos, use google voice!!

Its free you can make a new localized number and tie all your other numbers into it, so it all looks like your new google voice number from any number to anyone. and you can setup custom actions for unknown callers like for example "this number is no longer in service" ect pretty cool service.

it works good over tor and proxies too if you have priority though like if its your own server.
