COOKING UNITHREAD

I won't derail other threads, so don't do the same. Im just going to lay out the rules once. NO POLITICS. that's it. Don't trump hump and dont spaz from trump derangement syndrome. My threads are going to about food. Both sides of the aisle eat it, and we all shit the same.


So I love cooking, and im pretty nerdy. Right now my thing is Colonial recipes.
The youtube has so much Colonial cooking goodness, but since it's the dog ass of summer I want to share his Switchel recipe. I made this last week and it really does refresh after spending 2 hours mowing brush and getting eaten by bugs.

Seriously, it was refreshing. Probably on the same level of Gatorade, but without the fake chemical taste.

Next summer im going to be making this by the jug
