Whats For Dinner GLP?

Lasagna but it didn't turn out...i'm starving

Chicken wings, nice and crispy basted with franks red hot and butter and homemade blue cheese for dipping

Garden salad loaded up with a lemon Dijon vinagarette

Burritos

Surf and turf with XL steamed shrimp cocktail and crock pot Angus roast.

Tonight is Chicken Fricasee over rice and okra on the side. It's not my favorite dish but my husband loves it. He loves anything with rice and gravy.

Tomorrow is my turn to pick a dish and it is a Shrimp boil with Irish potatoes, cajun sausage, corn on the cob, onions, celery and garlic tossed in the boil. Also salad with fresh garden tomatoes.

Harhar, you think I'm going out in this heat for Brie and apples?......





I guess we've got two more days of 100+ heat....I saw it's supposed to be 107 tomorrow, and I have two work runs. Soooo glad my van has a kickass AC in it, and the afternoon run is up in the mountains. It's always a bit cooler up there.

The AC in my apt. is in its death throes, I think. It's making these rattling and squeaking sounds, and is leaking water. Poor thing is working so hard. I knew I should've listened to my little voice that told me to go ahead and buy a new one this year....

We just had a fishing ban here at Clark Hills Lake (Lake Thurman) its 500 miles of man made shoreline. They had a sewage spill, so no fishing for a while. We Bass and Bream fish there alot.

Ham, shimp, andouille sausage jambalaya with holy trinity and homemade creole spices.

My mom took me out as a thanks for some work - had Carne Asada, it was butter-tender & perfectly med-rare.

Oh, jeez, reading through the posts has made me want to eat some of what y'all are making.

Heh, I might have a bowl of Raisin Bran, since I have no salmon OR a grill...

I love it w/ a little olive oil and onion in a pan just long enough - al dente, yum.

My guy loves that too and when he cooked it for me it was the first time I had ever tried it. It was SO good!!

Current diet doesn't allow it though. :\

It is good, but I'd prefer to eat it in the winter and eat light dishes in the heat of the summer. He does not care. LOL!

Ground Venison hamburger steaks and potatoes and corn.

You need to add some Old Bay spice to that dish...Yummay

I have a ton of zucchinis and tomatoes growing in my garden.

Made some zucchini fritters served with a dollop of sour cream, roasted some tomatoes in my oven and dressed them with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

I wasn't hungry so I stuffed my face with some soft pretzels.BF wanted steak and eggs with onions and montery jack cheese on onion bagels so thats what I made him.

Update It was the first time I made this with the Instant Pot and it came out Great better than take out!

We use Zatarains liquid boil with a splash of Old Bay. I love the spiciness of it.

Same as always, crow sometimes I get served and other times I do the serving. I prefer the serving so that is probably why it is way less than the having to eat part.
