I know first hand that Israel doesn't like it when you fly into their airspace.

Many years ago we strayed into their airspace while part of the MFO. We had 2 fast movers on us like white on rice very quickly.

They knew who we were as we were traveling from south camp to north camp. However, they still had a little fun and locked on.

Not a great feeling sitting in a helicopter when the APR39 lights up.

Just a beep beep beep and then straight tone when they have a lock. Not a great feeling when they get a solid tone. We were in a Huey at the time. They were having a little fun, but we didn't know that at the moment.

Sorry. Didn't answer the coms ??….they did finally radio us and escorted us out of the airspace, but it was about 30 seconds before they called

Has anyone seen the updated movie of Raid on Entebbe from the 70's I think? It's called 7 days in Entebbe. The thing I always remember about Israel, like em or hate em, when they make up their minds to do something, they do it. Militarily, even though small they seem strong to me. It took daring to rescue those hostages, from so far away.

One of my classmates became a US Navy Combat Pilot. He told me of a time he was vectored to checkout a surface contact about 100nm from his task force. It was a Russian Destroyer class ship shadowing them. As he verified and reported the contact, he said his threat board lit up like a christmas tree and noticed all the ships AA weapons were tracking him. He bugged out and RTB'd to his carrier. All part of a cat and mouse game. In some cases, planes like EP3 Orion would intentionally try to get enemy ships to activate their radar and weapons systems to gather SIGINT for future electronic countermeasures (ECM).

I was just watching a documentary last night on the 6 day war because I have a feeling history is about to repeat itself very soon over there and I wanted to better understand how things escalated (and ended) so quickly.

Happened supposedly over the Golan Heights. Not sure that's the State of Israel's "territory"? Thought it was Internationally recognized as Syrian territory. Not that it matters of course - as netanyahu et al appear to just do as they please/foment, and all the world 'leaders' just watch and shake each others hands.

Israel has one of the best and most decisive militaries in the world.

On the war map, there is a pocket of ISIS corralled between the Golan fence border and the Syrian Rebels. The Syrian Rebels are pushed into ISIS by Assad's military. Not sure this is intentional but it's a volatile position for Israel, here is 3 waves of the enemy pushing into Israeli territory = ISIS, then Rebels and then Iran backed Syrian Army. Hell of a battlefield.

Considering that the 'rebel' groups are composed of muslims from all over the world and get paid by NATO, armed by Isrul and NATO and have three airforces, U.S., Israeli, and NATO in general, yet are losing the war to Syrian Iranian and Lebanese patriots.

Syrian Rebels are ordinary citizens that are not belonging to ISIS.

Understanding Islam is critical because their terms are not like Western terms.
The Taliban situation was similar, normal citizens fighting then pledging aliegence to a rebel group. The Syrian Rebels are un-pledged other than fighting Assad. So various terrorist groups, mainly named by Western media for identification, form and aren't accurate.

The Syrian plane was carrying 2 ss21 capable of 500kg warheads and 100 km reach. David's Sling was aimed at the missiles.

it's a myth that NATO pays terrorists. like the Myth that US and the West pays ISIS or anyone else.

Military contracts differ according to government operations. Mostly when the US has to clear bases and roads and area related to US military equipment they will pay the locals for their inconvenience. In some cases the US military will train locals as deputies of sort for protections.

The US doesn't funnel money to "terrorism". But there are plenty of fund funneling into terrorist from Islam itself because terrorist groups are their Special Forces.

So I suggest that you do some more research on how things actually work rather than repeating shit that isn't necessarily true just to demonstrate whatever it is you are trying to demonstrate. You might find it interesting as you dig into the real facts.
