Folks anywhere along the future path of the fire, PLEASE prepare your selves with solar charged/battery power lighting in case the power goes out and you feel you need to get things loaded. I can tell you how much easier it is having light to ease your mind a bit while you HAVE THE TIME to gather what is important to you. Be safe, everyone, and do not choose to stay while everyone else evacs....Listen, it is understood that you may have so much to lose, may have alot of valuables, etc. YOU"RE NOT THE ONLY ONE> The winds alone created by these fires are enough to ignite areas around you. We also need to watch our own areas, as it would be a total nightmare to have smaller fires end up joining via windstorms. I'm hanging out in Trinidad today, so many rvs and campers on the road you'd think it was 4th of July weekend again. Been talking to people that came to the coast, evacuated.
