False. While Antarctica is indeed a continent, the distribution of ice ON IT is something that can affect the balance of rotation. You see that there are HUGE shelves of ice breaking off, and also in some areas, more accumulation so that what you have is a weight imbalance. It only needs to be unevenly distributed at one pole to make a difference anyway.

That's my thinking. But I'm concerned about all the magma movement recently. It's obviously on the move with all the volcanoes and EQs going on.

HERE IS MY LATEST THEORY: THE UNDERGROUND MAGMA TUBES LINE UP DIRECTLY WITH THE KNOWN EARTH LAY LINES.

Magma is highly magnetic and energetic. Lay lines are said to be area's on the Earth's globe with special powers. Magma fits that bill.

I would have thought that people would have travelled towards warmer areas during the ice age, so to me ,it makes sense that there would be 'cities' (higher rates of civilizations, now ruins)along the equator line.

Also, it goes East/West, of which without a compass (or stars to follow at night) the suns movement (sunrise to sunset)is easy to follow, by land or by sea, and East-er Island (in the middle of a huge ocean) seems well named!

Maybe the various large statues, monuments, etc,along that 'line', stood as a type of 'lighthouse' or 'beacons', or even as a warning 'trespassers will be eaten/sacrificed'. lol Hunger would have been a big problem.

Yup all the prepping in the world won't help if your under 1000 feet of water or you get flash frozen.

It's more about location and elevation than buying food and storing water.
