Yes reveal red karma people. If they are abusive and troll threads members can ban them from posting on their threads.

Nothing wrong with Red karma if during Civil discourse if you believe that the post is truly wrong on a subject matter

However to remain AC so you can insult, harass, and say vile
disgusting things to members GLP should not let them be able to hide like cowards.

No.

Karma's a bitch.
The Clementine Homilies [...] in which it is clearly taught that the Devil is but a temporal evil, a servant of good, and agent of God, who, with all his evil works, are finally to be transformed into good. On the one hand, the Devil is not properly an evil, but a God-serving being; on the other, there is a final transformation of the Devil, of the evil into good.

One of the reasons for it, was to allow the community to help keep the board clean so it didn't burn out the mod's and poor Trinity.

At least, that's what I've heard and it makes sense to me as long as it isn't abused.

that was the anonymous coward system that caused all the problems, and the AC's didn't get any karma. so that's gone, and now it's a much friendlier site.

if a good comment is made, no karma is needed, we all know that it was good.

hideous personal attacks on the karma page on some posters for god knows what reason at times are totally uncalled for and serve no purpose.

allowing someone like the 'man of comedy' to run wild over the site for many months is not 'tolerating'; he should have been deleted many months before that he actually was. some others fit this profile as well.

I think we should keep the past red karma private and start showing who leaves it. It would stop the bullshit karma stalking that goes on. A big part of the mod job should be seeking out karma stalkers and putting a stop to it...or removing it.

Just one persons opinion.

Hi T.C.O.

Doesn’t it seem It’s Robbing Peter to pay Paul?

Someone says something that caused a negative reaction.

Action/Reaction

Someone is punished (for their opinion) and another with (a different opinion) is rewarded with no accountability to the punisher whether he was justified or not

I’ll let you decide if the “punishers” have a bias.

Transference of karma — based on “Opinions”. The Funny Man was a perfect example. I sent him a polite email and was rewarded with a profanity laced accusirory response ( he was either an actor or Mentally ill and not at all funny, [I’m not easily amused but easily bored]) and weekly punishment for being kind until he left.

I have reported only horrific posts....

Most of my reports have been to ACs but....I have given it to a few members.

It seems the system pits one ideology against another.

The Index Finger Warriors. Lol.

My Vote - Reveal the givers of red.

Let the chips fall where they may.

~ GENUINE KARMA ~

It’s Grow Up Time.

Snowflakes — Indeed. chuckle

And then we can fight it out in a BloodLess War and maybe, Just MAYBE we can Make peace

Hf

Either leave it as is or get rid of it altogether. Why welcome new drama and headaches into the space left with the vacating of the ACs?

There are only 2 scenarios that will play out if karma givers are revealed.

1- People will leave karma as revenge. Red for red.

2- Red karma receivers will ban red karma givers from ever posting into their threads which will result in nothing but "me too" and "yep" threads. There isn't much more boring than one of those threads.

Things are going good for now. Can't we just be happy about that?
