A fine example of the Democrat "progress" bell curve
Quoting: Warren Peace They did it for detroit, chicago, Ny and California
now they want the rest of America to be special
Quoting: jake The closest the president has come to putting reality in more ideological terms was his speech at the UN last year. He talked about Venezuela, which admittedly is ultra-liberal to liberal-liberal blue America. Still, the slimy liberalism of one ins't necessarily so much more over-the-top than the liberalism of the other.
Trump said the problem with Venezuela wasn't that its socialism has been poorly implemented, but that its "socialism has been faithfully implemented."
Even that basic two-plus-two-equals-four statement caused resentment among the left. But he needs to do more of that. He needs to finally get more of the public realizing that sloppy-ass liberalism does not make people and places nicer, kinder, more honest, more humane, more logical. More dysfunctional and ruthless, yes, but not more legitimately "I feel your pain."
Too many people instead idiotically and naively believe that, hey, if a person's intentions at least are supposedly nice, it's okay if the results are a big fuck-up.
That allows ruthless, cunning Hillary/Barack-type liberals to skate and whistle through society.
