Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75618397 No can do. (Do you see my avatar?) By the way, he's mastering his multiplication tables now. He can read and write as good as you and I, and he's probably better than all of us at video games combined...almost. ;) Those cute horn bud kids are always smart. I'll be waiting expectantly for his entrance. Goodnight. Gotta run! Toodles |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75618397 I'll try to share something on his birthday in some way, I just might not be able to embed the image directly. In other news, here's something odd that was posted today, after I shared that card image last night. Thread: Lightning Strikes Detected Near The North Pole!!! (Water is associated with cardinal direction of North in this system of Magick.) Sorry, that message is no longer in the database. |
AkashicRecord® User ID: 33811797 United States 08/12/2019 07:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This Magick system completely shifted Jack Parsons' universe, and I can only reinforce the truth and reality of its power, not to mention it's utter weirdness... It compelled me to travel over 3,300 miles to be with someone and to start a family. And here's how weird it instantly got just the day that I'd left California. I was planning a travel route that would bring me through Texas to New Orleans. I was going to visit some GLP friends there for a bit and then go through Alabama and then up to the New York border. (I also hoped to meet the woman that painted these cards, since she too was in New Orleans.) These friends would often walk through the famous graveyards in New Orleans. That day, it started to rain, and they noticed some sort of book...it looked like a black tome, and was a graveyard offering, as was common. Curiosity certainly won here, because they had to check it out (and it was being slowly destroyed by the rain, so they felt obligated to save it...if only just for me to look at when I arrived.) They opened the book to a random page and went straight to an image of this: (This is the Sigillum Dei Aemeth, a centerpiece of Enochian Magick, and that figure is printed on the back of each of my 86 cards...) Shit got real. Sorry, that message is no longer in the database. |
AkashicRecord® User ID: 73217548 United States 08/12/2019 12:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | After I arrived, it was easy to see that the bound tome was someone's personal book of Magick, and also like a Magickal journal of sorts. They were done with it (according to the final entries.) The name Carter stood out, and I borrowed the book for a few days, along with a copy of Crowley's Book 4: Magick in Theory and Practice... I perused this personal journal for a few days until returning it, where it was later destroyed in the swamps of Louisiana. (Oh well, it wasn't my call. I think everyone but me was kind of creeped out by it.) While I was visiting New Orleans, some funky stuff was happening. I was using quite a few different Tarot decks, even standard playing cards. On one night, I drew a card for the following day; that next day, we all went to one of the cemeteries, and that exact card was left as a grave offering, and it had a phone number on it... AkashicRecord® User ID: 73153690 United States 08/12/2019 01:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | To keep things short, I'll fast-forward a bit: Days later, I arrive at the New York border, making some really good time, barring the stops for visiting and sight-seeing. Dare I say I was on a Cannonball Run pace, because I pretty much was! (I stopped in Alabama for a few to visit family, so I'm omitting that for now.) You see, I'd already ascertained as to the identity of who I was going to see. We had even performed queries against this special deck over Skype together before I had left California. A few days after I arrived at my final destination, I said to her that it was probably time...so she asks, "time for what?" I shuffled and cut my cards a number of times, as was standard for my Working. I fan all 86 cards out, face-down, with only the Sigillum Dei (shown earlier) visible on the red card backs... I ask her to select "her" card (she knew what that meant, as did I.) Her hand wanders over the fanned-out cards and after a while she finalizes her choice, almost selecting a few different cards before settling on this specific one. "Well, the moment of Truth. Let's see if it's your card..." She reveals the face, and indeed it was the exact card (as we both expected): [link to tarot.solar-sound.com] Sorry, that message is no longer in the database. |
AkashicRecord® User ID: 35236772 United States 08/12/2019 04:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hopefully, a few with "eyes to see" will appreciate what I'm doing, because I never quite planned on this... 'confession' ...but I didn't really want to be so tight-lipped about everything, either; I have no intention on taking all of this to my grave. Not anymore. (Hell, I'm almost 42; I'm not getting any younger!) I don't exactly have anything to gain from either stance, though. My only real obligation is a fully truthful accounting of my experiences...no matter how bizarre or "impossible" they may seem. I'm not looking for validation, as I've already had plenty of that. Still, my mind is blown quite often, and I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to shake that. I'll have some more details to write about later. Thanks for reading, as always. So thank you for sharing! Also regarding the graveyard tome why didn't your friends just take it back to the graveyard? Quoting: Ricky M Thank you! You know, I have no idea about that tome...but it might have been because those items / offerings are routinely cleared by groundskeepers...it would have likely just been tossed in the trash. But I could only speculate. (I personally wanted to keep it, but it wasn't mine. Would have made a HELL of a great conversation piece, though. I ended up taking one picture of the inside of the book... should have taken more.) Last Edited by AkashicRecord® on 08/12/2019 06:56 PM Sorry, that message is no longer in the database. |
AkashicRecord® User ID: 50330480 United States 08/12/2019 07:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm going to rewind for a moment back to Sacramento, California, and the 418 Lodge. This was the local O.T.O. body in my local region; O.T.O. being the Ordo Templi Orientis.) I attended their Gnostic Mass a few times, under the auspices of a Mr. Knight (how cool of a last name is that?) It didn't last long, mostly because I didn't have a very "capable" audience for my material, and another being the four-hour drive it took for me to attend the meetings. On my first visit to this group, I performed an animal sacrifice...though this was not exactly on the "menu", per se. (An owl flew into the path of my travel, and was quickly aced by a vehicle going about 100mph...so this was an involuntary animal sacrifice, and is more of an in-joke than anything else.) ...however, one of the first things I did upon arrival was to shuffle my Thoth Tarot deck and draw a "tester" card. It was (not surprisingly) the Death (XIII) card. Poor owl!!! That first night at the Soror Meral building, I did extensive demonstration Tarot spreads using Thoth and Enochian decks after the ceremonies were complete. I even performed "opening of the key" spreads which were my forte at the time for Crowley's deck... I was later approached by some members (after attending more meetings) to teach Enochian Magick classes and instruction, but I never obliged, and ultimately headed Eastward. I did bring my automatic drawing of Crowley and his pipe, but no one really believed / appreciated the truth regarding the (supernatural and paranormal) circumstances regarding the reception of the piece... This was somewhat funny, because my automatic drawing was better than the (paid) framed portrait of The Master THERION on their wall... {This Last Edited by AkashicRecord® on 08/12/2019 10:37 PM Sorry, that message is no longer in the database. |
AkashicRecord® User ID: 50330480 United States 08/12/2019 09:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'd quickly come to realize the vastly superficial nature of these people. They had no 'true' desire for actual occult knowledge... Only the chance glimpse at "free titties" in a dimly-lit concession hall, obviously hoping for cheap sex-hookups among myriad equally-dense Wiccan-chick types. (The fat "neckbeards" proved it.) It was utterly laughable, and old Uncle Crowley would have likely been turning in his grave... So shameful... Really cool you knew the book by heart. Quite impressive with the towers as well! Have you been to any other meetings that you actually enjoyed and benefited from? After moving away from Cali were you able to find a group to work with? You said they asked you to teach classes. Have you thought about doing that or later on? |

Look at the uncanny resemblance of Jack Parsons to Dave Navarro. They are very similar. Both followers of Thelema. Also all that stuff with Parsons marrying Northrup in turn working with Hubbard?? And being defrauded of fortunes and blowing up in his home lab at 37!? Crowley in the back? Lead scientist st JPL and all this occult shit? Wow just wow. |
