Yes, no - you are describing an opposing effect of "Awakening". Things have no meaning whatsoever, it is only our delusion that assigns meanings to things. Something as simple as seeing a tree and having your brain go "tree", in an uncontrollable, exaggerated way. The danger here is the risk of becoming one of those folk who wander city streets talking to the air. It's, like.. mild dementia, from a psychological perspective.

Whereas to walk the path of "Enlightenment", to "Awaken", involves no longer assigning any kind of abstract meaning to anything. Thus, you no longer allow your brain to "dream" up a narrative for whatever it is you are experiencing - therefore, you "awaken", see?
