The thread about literally nothing OO

I work in criminal defense. I study philosophy and religion. I could use a place to vent without fear of being ostracized for scientific, philosophical, or religious heresy. I don’t have time to maintain a thread of my own. So, awesome. Thank you. I’ll likely be taking you up on your hospitality sometime soon :) in the meantime, I like music a whole lot.

I wish I were funny. I’m really just a dork. It’s okay. I’ve made peace with it.

I've gotten into this a bit, not my favorite genre but I rock it from time to time

I’m not sure I have a favorite genre anymore. I might have never had one. What’s yours?

I’ve been into all manner of folk and traditional music over the last few months. I go through phases.

My most listened to track over the last 15 years according to one of my music apps. I’m not sure how accurate this really is. I don’t always scrobble what I’m listening to. It is a nice song, though.

It's hard to say, like you I'll go through phases and I tend to pick things up from others I'm posting around. For instance, I've really gotten into the retrowave stuff in the jb, and I've also gotten into indy rock etc from other friends, from other places, type situation lol.

Every now and again I'll catch a folk phase, metal phase, rock, rap, EDM etc..

I'll even listen to pop if it's produced right.

This morning's dreams were of me touring a couple of small outdoor cemeteries that had a half-acre central lake surrounded by chain fence, and land with beautiful iron work benches, concrete railings and topography enclosed by a small ridge with a built in temple, full of short wooden passageways and the deeper you went into the cliff the larger the tabernacle. The sculptures above a few of the tombs were of winged horses on their hind legs perched 30' high. Everything was lush, old and very open. Perhaps only 100 were buried there. A foot path, a road that only went half way around the circular parameter.

I'm sure I designed each of these, I could hear my soul reaching within the echos of lifelessness and it's happiness visually singing for harmony between worlds.

This was an amazingly detailed dream, crash. I truly appreciate you sharing with us :)

The Circling Begins...


My eyes fall heavy and drag me down into a point of gravity below my stomach

I fall through my bed and into a tumbling free fall of increasing speed

Soon this tumbling turns to spirals and twists, and the heat of my soul begins

Out in the vast spaces between eternities, I see others starting the journey

Burning riotously above the cosmic waters, paired off into star-crossed lovers

As these spirals turn to spins and the spins become a slow dance

I finally see my companion, my confidant in this dance above the waters

From behind the icy dust veils, she emerges from the darkness

From the abyss where dreamers hide in silent slumber

Rubbing the sleep from our blazing eyes allows the fractals to permeate the darkness

The creative dance of life is born between these two souls of magnetic fire

Circling in silence as a universe spreads out in all directions

Two now circle and twist, blasting and burning defiantly

They circle and burn against the cold emptiness

Closer and closer until they touch and set the universe aflame

Repeating the process, increasing the numbers, spreading the grand design

My feet are dangling from the dark clouds,

they are my seat just under the stars and moon.

My eyes focused on the tiny twinklings, so far away,

reminding me that there is an ocean of emptiness.

An emptiness that I can chose to fill with my creations,

that can be filled with dreams and things never whispered.

So now I stand on the clouds,

My seat amongst the edge of night.

I wait patiently for the streaking stars to swing by silently,

and then with patience and care I take hold and I'm off.

Across the universe shedding my fantasies like tiny seeds,

buried in the darkness of timelessness.

Waiting for the far reaching light to warm them,

to help them grow, to turn them into realities.

This is how the dreamwalkers move across time,

Shifting the tiny spaces used to collect our fleeting memories.

It was at a coed dormitory. A young man kept trying to kiss a young woman every time his girlfriend left the room. She kept denying him and kept telling him she was just there to warn them and they had to evacuate. His girlfriend kept coming back into the room. I saw an address on a piece of mail. It had the word Pembroke on it. They all got in a van and drove in and out of heavy traffic even up onto sidewalks to get out of there. They almost got t-boned at an intersection. Think the girlfriend was driving. When I woke up kept thinking about the phrase "Star crossed Lovers."

The young man looked like an actor on Modern Family named Adam Devine. My "guides" sometimes use actors to send messages in dreams. WEIRD! In the tv show he has a thing for an actress named "Sarah Hyland."

Looked it up and Pembroke is a town in North Carolina about 90 miles inland, close to the NC/SC border with a university in it. Hoping and praying "whoever" I was seeing got out and are safe. Hopefully they got to "Higher land." The trajectory is looking like the storm is going right through that area.

that is something else, woah...
