I've watched the trailer for The Magicians.
To me it looks a bit dummy but who knows... worths a try ?

TG and Ricky say it's good. It's cheeky from what I've seen, nothing to lose your shit over or anything. But clever..

Westworld is that kind of show that makes you wonder about certain people. What I mean is, the way the story is told, the games, the manipulations and smoke and mirrors, can cause me to over think a bit... Again nothing to lose my shit over, but can get spooky... Humans are very complex and with that complexity comes brutality and cold cleverness

Yeah, i guess was the cheeky smell that made me rise an eyebrow about those Magicians - reminded me of that long show... what was called ? Once Upon a Time i think.


Westworld is like a cut through the onion
Cold cleverness is part of a survival mechanism - sometime is abused for personal benefits though... but we are a mix of perfect imperfections and that will be our endless legacy :-)

I guess when you consider the fact that it's a ghost in the machine, literally guiding machines into duality and conscious thought is scary

Multi Polarity (or duality if you prefer) is needed in order to maintain the very flux of life and preserve existence.

As for the blurry lines between man and machine... we should remember that Prometheus (as the creator of humankind) made men from clay.and Athena/Sophia breathe over them to animate them into life.
We replicate the process maintaining the silicon from the silica which made op our clay bodies... but where from do we borrow the breathe of life to animate our creations with it ?
