Do you recall the Bob Bashara case in Michigan?

She was an acquaintance of mine and and a bunch of us started a forum/group to help find her killer, even though we all knew it was her husband.

Her sister was part of the group so we knew everything behind the scenes, which is actually not very much, LE keeps it tight to the vest

Cops are working on this, they are probably following him and others, watching everything they say and do.

Re: RE: the missing Iowa girl.....
I read an article this morning that she might have been spotted at a truck stop...appeared drugged. No confirmed reports...only "maybe it was her."

I didn't see the news conference, but those parents have to keep their cool since they're hoping she's still alive. She's been gone for three weeks.

As you know, she was staying with the boyfriend's dogs while he was 100 miles away. She lived there along with him and two other young people who were also 100 miles away that day. He said that no one locks their doors in Brooklyn, Iowa, (population 1700), so she probably did not have the doors locked. Yikes!

I sometimes had my doors unlocked during the day since I live in a "safe" community until one day, about 20 years ago, I had the front door locked. Someone rang the doorbell. I didn't answer it. Then the person tried to open the door...I could hear the door handle go back and forth. I froze! From then on, my doors are locked 24 hours a day!

I just read there will be a news conference with updates tomorrow morning at 9:30am. They are back searching that pig farm...ditches near it. I think that's where they had dogs last week. Updated news says someone found a red shirt nearby, but they did not report anything more....whether or not they suspected it was Mollie's.

The farmer there said he gave permission for authorities to search his house, computer and property without a search warrant. He said he had nothing to hide.

The place Mollie worked wore red shirts, some kind of day care facility. I think that's from an Iowa news outlet source...read it an hour ago?

What we DO know about Wayne Cheney:

(besides his multiple guilty pleas for stalking as recently as 1100 days ago)

Is that the Iowa 'hog farmer' lived across the street from this massive actual hog farm facility. Whether he worked there is unclear, just that he lives right across from it. Also, I doubt that he owns it, because of his disheveled and generally 'non-professional' demeanor.

Kinda resembles a really creepy Mr. Lahey from Trailer Park Boys. (God forgive me for saying that!)

To give you a local perspective on this case... we live an hour and half from in Iowa. We for the most part NEVER lock our doors... no need too. In small town Iowa we still trust everyone and a breakin or theft in a town the size of Brooklyn would be major news in the community!! Hell I leave my car unlocked with keys and billfold in it nightly! For you big city folks... this is how life is here.
If she went back to her Boyfriends house (as they assume) it would not even be out of the norm for her to answer a knock at the door at ANY hour of the night. I guarantee you me or ANYONE of my neighbors would do the same. YES... there are still places that live like that in the heart of the USA!
In my opinion what has happened to her is that some freaking dirt sack came off the interstate as he was passing through... saw her jogging ... and followed her to get BF house. I could be wrong... but whatever happened to her is scaring the shit outta us.:.not to mention the other 48 missing Iowans in the last month!!!

I’m headed to work right now, so I will add more to this later. However something stinks. I just was watching the press conference with the parents.
Not only did neither of them not show any emotion whatsoever, which is possible if they are in shock, still strange, but they were way too structured, and lacking any empathy whatsoever on camera. They also kept praising the media , Making sure people knew they thought the media was incredible.
Does anybody else find that strange? I will get back on here for the discussion in about an hour, just want to hear your thoughts.
Thanks!
Ps, I would be inconsolable if my child were missing. And again, people react differently to stressful situations but this just seems odd to me.

Actually.... and this is just a theory...

Maybe the investigators are using one of Mollie's unwashed work shirts to help the search animals recover her scent?

The latest is that the boyfriend received a brief electronic message from Mollie approx. 10pm, a revision from the earliest theory that she was last seen or heard from while jogging.

Last seen while jogging, yes.

Last heard from, later that night, from a device of hers (Fitbit, or iPhone is unclear).

As far as the red shirt, perhaps she changed out of the sports bra from jogging (I recall it was pink?- have to double check) into a comfy, soft, work shirt? And then was abducted, and that is possibly the shirt they found in the woods recently?

Just thinking out loud :/

They cleared the boyfriend right away. Must have an alibi.

But he is not acting normal. Something is wrong with him.

If someone kidnapped my daughter who is same age ... I would go and forth from crying to fighting words.

Something is odd.
 Quoting: A1Janitor

"Mollie had been staying at her boyfriend Dalton Jack's home in Brooklyn the night she disappeared.

Jack shares the house with his brother Blake and his fiancee Aimee Houghton, who were due to marry in the Dominican Republic this week. They have since canceled their wedding as the search continues."

[link to www.nzherald.co.nz (secure)]

If it was an inside job (ie, the boyfriend), it would be rather complicated, perhaps, considering his own brother and future sister-in-law lived in the house, too.

I will give benefit of doubt that it wasn’t inside job for now. Who knows with that pig creeper.

Whether this Wayne Cheney feller is an "official suspect", you can probably assume they're keeping an eye on the man, covertly. Watch his behavior, after not being named a "suspect". See where he goes, who he visits, who he contacts.

That's how they monitored the Brinks-Mat burglary suspects--- and pounced when they led them to the heist stash. FWIW.

Did they bring in dogs yet for a search in those corn fields?

And why question a man 15 minutes away? Is there evidence of someone else around the house. Seems like other odd people / people with records would be closer even in a rural area like that.

Not sure. Good questions.

Perhaps a neighbor saw her leave, and wave or something while walking their dog.

As for the 10pm snapchat--- pretty sure those things might have GPS-encoded information in the file/server/whatever technology Snapchat uses.

So, probably, the authorities can work with the company to find out where it was taken/sent.

But you're right, MissCleo, this is the kind of information the cops keep to themselves.

1) praising media: yeah, you dumb fucking retards. This isn’t some pysop to get positive attention for the media. The media has been covering the hell outta this story which keeps her face out there for people to see. I’d be appreciative too.

2) no, boyfriend was not the last person to see her

It only takes about 2 hours or less to drive 100 miles... He's there Monday.

If the boyfriend premeditated her murder then he would have known she was jogging at 7:30 and the his dogs were fed and taken care of. This is Wednesday.

he knew she didn't have to be at work until Thursday, so there was time for him to normalize at the construction job and secure his alibi.

So he drives home from the construction site Wednesday at 8 p.m. (did they work at night?) Kills or abducts her. Texts from her phone. Gets back to the construction sight at 10 pm, confirms the text from her. disposes of body... in construction footers? Texts her in the morning as alibi.

Thursday she doesn't show up for work.

Boyfriend is questioned and cleared so they start looking for the local sex offenders. (or the token black guy).

Transcript (by Wharf Rat) of Wayne 'hog farmer' Cheney's interview with local Iowa TV:

Video here --> [link to www.dailymail.co.uk]

TV guy: What was the situation like for you here, and how they kind of approached everything?

Wayne Cheney:
[looking downward and away]
Oh, I don't know, heh heh
[smiles, and touches glasses]
[scratches side of face]
[keeps looking downward, begins to wave a hand at the camera]
I don't know. We're wasting our time.
[Begins to walk away]
I'm done.

TV: You said, the FBI took you down the fire station, right?

Wayne Cheney:
[walking away, touches hand to door handle]
[turns around]
No, it wasn't the FBI
[begins to squint, gesticulate with right arm]
They took me to the fire station, Tuesday.
[Closes eyes, scratches under glasses with hand, rubs eyes]
...Questioned me, couple, for a couple hours they questioned me
[still rubbing face and nose, squinting]

TV: Just about, like, what you saw here, or actually like, where you've been, or...What was that, what kind of questions?

Wayne Cheney:
[still stracting under glasses]
I don't even remember [nervous laughter] what they asked me.
[crosses arms]
[still looking downward]
It was just a waste of time, I thought.

TV: Does it unfortunately make, I mean....uh, you feel like they're---
[Wayne Cheney scratches his head confusedly, looking down]
--- second guessing you, as a resident here?
Wayne Cheney:
[Smoothing back his Homer Simpson like locks, a behavioral grooming signal]
Yeah, yeah [nodding, looking down]

TV: (voice over) It is unclear if police have cleared him as a suspect
Wayne Cheney: [rubbing eyes, closing eyes]
I don't know.
[Puts both hands up, defensively]
I'm done.
[Walks away]

Re: RE: the missing Iowa girl.....
yes, I believe this is a social experiment of some sort, or a sting operation ruined by horrible acting. The guy said "call in..even if its not true or nothing, we just need to get a conversation started" WTF? Also, how do you get someone to want to call in when they let everyone know the reward "pot" will be rising daily.

Strange indeed, nothing natural about this

THE fact that a person was photographing joggers is a BIG CLUE! This is how they do it! they provide 3 pictures to the predator and then one is picked. (for whatever reason, hair color, DNA who knows) and then it happens. Supposedly this is how Maddie McCain was chosen, she was one of 3 photos presented to final abductor.

Transcript (by Wharf Rat) of Wayne 'hog farmer' Cheney's interview with local Iowa TV:

Video here --> [link to www.dailymail.co.uk]

TV guy: What was the situation like for you here, and how they kind of approached everything?

Wayne Cheney:
[looking downward and away]
Oh, I don't know, heh heh
[smiles, and touches glasses]
[scratches side of face]
[keeps looking downward, begins to wave a hand at the camera]
I don't know. We're wasting our time.
[Begins to walk away]
I'm done.

TV: You said, the FBI took you down the fire station, right?
Wayne Cheney: [walking away, touches hand to door handle]
[turns around]
No, it wasn't the FBI
[begins to squint, gesticulate with right arm]
They took me to the fire station, Tuesday.
[Closes eyes, scratches under glasses with hand, rubs eyes]
...Questioned me, couple, for a couple hours they questioned me
[still rubbing face and nose, squinting]

TV: Just about, like, what you saw here, or actually like, where you've been, or...What was that, what kind of questions?

Wayne Cheney:
[still stracting under glasses]
I don't even remember [nervous laughter] what they asked me.
[crosses arms]
[still looking downward]
It was just a waste of time, I thought.

TV: Does it unfortunately make, I mean....uh, you feel like they're---
[Wayne Cheney scratches his head confusedly, looking down]
--- second guessing you, as a resident here?
Wayne Cheney:
[Smoothing back his Homer Simpson like locks, a behavioral grooming signal]
Yeah, yeah [nodding, looking down]

TV: (voice over) It is unclear if police have cleared him as a suspect
Wayne Cheney: [rubbing eyes, closing eyes]
I don't know.
[Puts both hands up, defensively]
I'm done.
[Walks away]

Refresher course for those clueless: Country88 is 100% correct! Also this was mentioned but as a reminder... pig farms are searched for suspects since hogs will eat ANYTHING. So if a pig farm is searched there is reason to believe someone was trying to get rid of “evidence”.

48 missing from 13-20 boys and girls in two weeks or less? All in Iowa
 Quoting: Braden Anderson

all the missing kids in Iowa is what caused a red flag with me. I live in Missouri close to Iowa and the fact so many people are missing in Iowa is all over fact book. the numbers being posted are not quite as high as yours but at least 30 young people are missing in July. None of the Fake news stations say a word about all the other missing youth. I told my wife this evening something was fishy with the story. Also the fact the FBI is evolved even though it has not been ruled a kidnapping yet.

it stinks something is up!

Re: RE: the missing Iowa girl.....
I followed the Bashara case ...

Wasn’t he the guilty one who went to the wife’s vigil and didn’t speak? That was odd.

Were they into S &M?

And he failed the lie detector test. I have taken 3 lie detector tests and passed all three.

The first time I took one I was so nervous. He showed me a trick and I immediately believed in lie detector tests.

Re: RE: the missing Iowa girl.....

Exactly!

You just can’t be caught driving there or seen there.
