Dave Collum, a retired maintenance director for the Brooklyn-Guernsey-Malcom school district, tells the Associated Press that he was interviewed by investigators who told him that data from Tibbetts’ Fitbit showed she jogged past his home that evening and made it home from the run safely. He says investigators told him she was doing homework on her computer later that evening.

If she made it home after her run, then someone must have come to her door afterwards. Did someone spot her and wait until the middle of the night when she was likely asleep?

Not if the dogs were locked in the basement. Therefore it had to be someone she recognized but whom the dogs did not, a non-relative.

Likely that she went out with him late in the evening? Doubt she would have secured the dogs unless she knew she was coming back very shortly. Just my guess.

Wait for cops to get warrants for peoples fitbit info to see if they were stressed of had a high heart-rate when they think someone committed a crime.

I would never use a fitbit. I use a cheap Chinese watch with a color LED display that is only slightly bigger than a fitbit. It tracks everything including bloodpressure but only stores info on my phone. It cost me $10

I also use a GPS jammer in my car most the time. Not because I am doing anything wrong, I Just like my privacy.
