The 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th are going to be very bad days ahead for Hawaii...and not just big island.

Rev Woo-Woo...you better gear up love...

siren2 siren2 siren2 siren2 siren2

What I'm showing is that the 9th is when it really hits Big Island...Hilo, LERZ, dropping around 8" of rain onto Fissure 8. Phreatic reaction much? Winds topping around 100mph around Hilo and the North entry areas.

The 9th through 10th, we're looking at around 6" (15.24cm) the first day and TWENTY inches (50.8cm) on the tenth.

First, we have massive inundation on Fissure 8. Also massive water weight on the already unstable slump. Next, we have serious flash flooding on Maui which already dealt with that a few months ago from just 12". Now closer to 25" coming.

Here are the links:

Start looking for square radar signatures to know where it's being steered like this image capture 1000 miles away from P.R. before Maria hit right there: : [link to imgur.com (secure)]

What do you mean by square radar signatures. How does that show direction though? Educate me. ;)
 Quoting: Rose8

HAARP creates high pressure domes to direct the hurricanes. It also shows itself with the square signatures.

When HAARP targets an area the square or rectangle signatures are fairly obvious. It is HAARP burning an ionospheric hole to steer the storm in that direction. Much like the shape of the array/photos of the installation in Gankona, AK.

Reminds me of the radar loop of Hurricane Katrina that showed a "tuning fork" anomaly which appeared to be guiding the storm northward. I believe it was Richard Hoagland who found that.

From the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence, I must confess that I do apprehend some danger. I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants, and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men, and become the instruments of their own undoing. Make them intelligent, and they will be vigilant; give them the means of detecting the wrong, and they will apply the remedy.”

It's still too far out to predict what it will do. Red sirens aren't called for right now.

All the people will do there anyway is go to Costco and buy up all the bottled water and rice. If it turns out to have a projected direct track through the islands, all people can do is hope their roofs hold. It has happened before, it will happen again.

What's the weird fascination with Hawaii on GLP anyway? It won't affect the lives of the vast majority of people who come on GLP. I do have family there, and I'm not alarmed. Tell me when it's a few days away with a direct track through the islands. Until then, it's just more noise.

If it turned into a hypercane then it would be very disruptive and way more than just one State's problem, even if it is an island all by its self surrounded by seas.
That would take it up much higher and hotter into the atmospheres beyond the normal levels.

Lava, Hurricane & Roadway Update - 8:00pm (8/2/2018)

Hurricane Hector is heading towards the Big Island currently with maximum sustained winds near 110 mph with higher gusts. It’s forecast to remain about this intensity for the next day or so before it should begin to intensify into a major hurricane by this weekend. This evening, the track for Hector was nudged higher to the north bringing it’s path almost straight towards the Big Island..."

(ty Paranoiaaaaa!)

Hawaii Should Prepare for Hurricane Hector

"Some are concerned what impact a landfalling hurricane can have on an active volcano. USGS’s Hawaii Volcano Observatory (HVO) scientists tell us the intensity of the eruption is so great that weather won’t impact it. However, heavy rain pouring onto the lava flow field can create unique problems. Hawaii Volcano Observatory geologist Janet Babb tells us that heavy rain on the flow field could create white-out conditions with zero visibilities as the hot lava vaporizes the rainfall into a dense steam cloud. Babb tells us that such zero-visibility would occur in the existing hazard area where people should not be anyway.

HVO geochemist Tamar Elias described to us how the steam rising from the lava flow is more dangerous than the steam you’d find in your bathroom shower. “There is a difference between the steam produced in your shower and the steam produced from a heavy rain event interacting with molten lava on the flow field. The steam generated on the lava flow field will be very acidic – and the hot acidic steam, would be more hazardous than the steam from your shower.” Elias added, “In low wind conditions, the steam could accumulate adjacent to the lava flows, which is the area of highest hazard. Heeding the Civil Defense warnings and closures is especially important if heavy rain is interacting with molten lava on the flow field. The impact of an acid steam plume is local in nature – since as soon as the plume moves away from the lava flow, it cools down. The primary impacts to more distant communities is from the volcanic emissions themselves.” Beyond the acidic steam, acid rain is also a concern Elias tells us. “Acid rain can also be generated when rain falls through the acidic gas and particle plume generated by the eruption.”..."

"...Nevertheless, there are certain circumstances that could be much more extreme. It’s possible that a volcano’s intense heat—lava can register 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit—could intensify a tropical cyclone. Heat evaporates seawater, which rises to create thunderstorms. No heat, no storm. And an explosive eruption might still temporarily disrupt areas within a hurricane. For instance, dust shot into the atmosphere could delay or accelerate rainfall, Nolan says. One study suggests the dust would contribute to more lightning. In fact, massive eruptions often generate cinematic lightning within their boiling black clouds.

More intriguing—and terrifying—is a theory that a submerged, massive volcano could heat enough ocean water to supercharge a Category 5 hurricane or super typhoon. Heating the already abundant heat of tropical waters would make storms bigger and stronger, and do it in less time. Jeff Masters, the meteorology director at Weather Underground, says such an underwater eruption might even spin up something called a hypercane, with winds reaching the speed of sound."

Scientists can tell how hot lava is by its color. Red lava is considered “cool” at about 1,472 degrees Fahrenheit. Orange lava is typically between 1,472 and 1,832 degrees Fahrenheit. Yellow lava is the hottest at 1,832–2,192 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the USGS.
