The big bang violates the first law of thermodynamics. Conservation of matter and energy.

When I was indoctrinated in science classes in public school, I 'learned' that a tiny mass exploded into the known universe. Either your teacher got it wrong, or you remember it wrong. Not as if American anti-intellectuals like you haven't been undermining education for decades. Where did this mass come from? Prentice Hall is one of the obvious culprits.
