I know someone who just sold a $1,500,000 120 acre high-end residential plot of land with a creek for $525,000.

When high-value residential is becoming farmland, farmland is overvalued.

Land is never a good investment in my opinion. Secondly, owning land opens you up to rising property taxes.

Why would invest in something that is guaranteed to get looted when the government needs more money?

Keep it simple when it comes to homes. People who think homes are an investment are DUMB.
