Born in Iowa, grew up in the Valley, the life and times of Stephen Craig Paddock
Born April 4th 1953 (wikipedia inaccurately has April 9th)

Born to parents Patrick Benjamin Paddock, a notorious bank robber and general rotten sort, in contrast with his mild mannered mother, one Dolores Irene Hudson.

Stephen Craig Paddock first made himself known to the world in Clinton, Iowa. Though later far from the bosom of bucolic life, he would find himself roughing it as a boy under the bridges and alongside the freeways of the San Fernando Valley. Occasionally performing magic tricks for the hoards of tourists attending the nearby Disneyland, Stephen soon learned he had an affinity for the deck and had the inherent prowess of a card shark and maverick. Giving up the freedom of a peripheral life of streetdom, Stephen went on to write a thesis on Cold Fusion, as well as several unpublished papers on ferromagnetism and one controversial paper on Fermi's Paradox in relationship with Plato's Forms. He was soon offered scholarship at Caltech and later, much later in adult life, a short stint under the tutelage of Carl Sagan at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratories.

Something Stephen Paddock was most proud of, was his time spent as an auditor of Morton Thiokol, where he garnered his initial experience within Jet Propulsion and ultimately the classified weapons industry. Having been invited to talk at several conferences in Nevada, soon saw him soon fall in love with the quiet suburbia of Mesquite. It was in 2001, Stephen conducted a controversial audit of the NASA, within the capacity of Morton Thiokol, which would later become the renowned Lockheed Martin. During that time it is believed Paddock personally ventured to sue several agents of DARPA for what he believed to be a conspiracy of silence involving the advanced weapon system utilised in New York, on September 11th 2001. It was here that Paddock met Aaron Rich and formed a friendship over their love of the Kentucky Derby and gambling. Aaron Rich presented Stephen Paddock and Peggy Paddock, his then wife, with an extremely rare dwarf werewolf cat≤, which would go on to be Paddock's life long companion and friend. Together Peggy Paddock and Stephen Paddock had one son, Christopher Paddock, who was later to become a consulate of North Korea.

In 2008 Paddock developed severe insomnia and tended to his malaise by pulling all nighters at truck stop cafes, writing pages upon pages of notes for what he termed his dream stela screenplay. Addiction to the slot machines of dive bars soon followed, with Peggy long gone and his son no longer calling. To cure his ills, he decided to seek out peyote in the desert, which he would prepare by boiling for several hours, then condense and dry the residues and cut into ten vegan gelatin capsules, to be consumed at each full moon. Unfortunately these trips appear to have contributed further to his conclusion that the United States government was involved in a conspiracy of such magnitude, that the common lay person would have a very hard time accepting or believing it was so. Having several of his off the wall letters published in the Desert Valley Times, Stephen soon found a fan in Marilou Danley, who was to become his gambling companion and travel partner. It has been speculated that Stephen's time working in Jet Propulsion may have attracted the attention of several foreign agencies with speculated arms deals thereby being organised by native Australian Marilou.

On October 1st, the anniversary of the official founding of NASA, Stephen Paddock opened fire over a crowd of concert goers from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel, which is owned by one Bill Gates and one Saudi Prince Al-Waleed. Wounding hundreds and killing fifty nine, Stephen Paddock would go on to be second only to nine eleven, in terms of human devastation. Though the ammonium nitrate and tannerite in his car suggest, things could have gone a lot, lot worse. It has been claimed by several sources on the internet that Paddock left several posthumous clues to the attack, including a bus ticket with "passport" written on it in glitter glue and several statements that "he didn't have armor piercing rounds". While most agree the Harvest festival formed the premeditative reason for attending Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay hotel on that date, some conspiracy theorists point to the fact that the annual Janet convention was taking place in connection to area 51 and that the date in question happens to be Yom Kippur and the birthday of one Jack Parsons.

One thing remains to be seen over this event and that is, what ever happened to the adorable dwarf werewolf cat Midnight Blue?

Perhaps that is the greatest mystery of all
