You all are on fire in this thread with the humorous abstractions. It’s like I’m getting smarter just by interacting with you folks.

Too bad for you that you have 148 + immeasurable iq. I guess there’s nothing else to do but raise everyone else’s iq by osmosis LOL

 Quoting: Kore

The genius would get all of the score.
I might say genius passed the test
Idiot might say genius cheated or broke the rules
Genius probably says something about transcending tests out of sheer painful boredom
 Quoting: Uvio

If an idiot creates an IQ test for one with average intelligence, it might go something like this:

"What color is the fire truck?"
"Where direction do birds fly in winter?"
"In what year did Einstein die?"

...for which the 'correct' answers would be "yellow", "left", and "the year grandma was born"

IQ tests are just as stupid, with similar assumptions about the greater reality.

Aw come on. But clinging to my IQ was all I’ve had for so long. There just HAS to be a reason I don’t fit the society machine and it must be because I’m just too advanced for it all!

I wanted to say my iq too but after looking at some of the ones here I decided to keep my trap shut.

I only took the test because they promised me an MRI scan of my brain on a t shirt afterwards. (But they didn’t give it because I didn’t have enough ADHD)

Re: Greetings!
Ahhhhhhh

In what color is the sky represented and how did it come to be so?

Or perhaps, why does the sky appear to be blue in color?
 Quoting: Uvio

These questions would not be unlike asking, "Is the gravitational constant x or y?" It not only presupposes an answer, but limits the perception of the response to where things outside of those two choices would be difficult to grasp.

For the first:

In what color... [assumes color is relevant]
is the sky represented... [assumes 'sky' is is represented]
and how did it come to be so? [assumes 'sky' has an origin]

I will make my own assumptions (from the wording) in that the answer you're looking for is scientific, but the actual 'truth' of the answer is not.

Would any question dear to your heart be ready for something that has nothing to do with feelings?

"Why is the sky blue?" could also be, "Why do I perceive the sky as blue?"

This could have a scientific response, to be sure, but a more 'true' answer would not be scientific.

So I should ask what 'level' of truth you'd like :)

The answers are all about you, as the questions are all about your perspective.

I suppose we'd first have to think about the intention of the test, who or what it benefits, what it's designed to measure, etc.

My first test was from an ex who wanted to know what kind of person she was dealing with, so she says. But a more useful test might be to measure how well people work together, rather than how well they can figure something out by themselves.

As we are really only intelligent in relation to others, an idiot could get high marks on a real test of intelligence: a measurement of what someone focuses on more between people, events, and processes.

That is to say, the person who can get along well with the most number of people (or maintain the most beneficial relationships) is the most intelligent, in my opinion. Prosperity (of humanity, of species, etc) is very smart, indeed.

So, yes. Your stomach is real insomuch as your interactions with it. The stomach you see in biological textbooks? You don't have it. There would be no need for it to exist. It would be a waste of energy, so to speak. (A waste of perspective.)

That is to say, the idea of your stomach is real but the stomach of your imagination is not real (and is folded within what you do interact with, in case you ever need to experience an other aspect of stomach-hood.)

Lol I kid. I simply failed miserably at the social aspect of things and failed just a little less miserably at the individual aspect of things. I got so caught up in trying to get everything right that my thought process dropped from 69 iq to maybe about oyster level (2 maybe 3).

Afterwards of course I knew what I should have done instead and went over every detail trying to find a way to excuse myself from the responsibility. I must have lacked the imagination to do it though :D

Where can I find the doorway between what I perceive in my imagination and what I perceive in my physicality?
