We should continually be in a state of repentance. It is not a one time thing, as we are all failed human beings.We goof up every day, by thought, word, or deed. Whether it is just looking at someone who does not look like us, and silently judging them, or doing something really bad, it is all sin in God's eye, and we must acknowledge this, and repent of our shortcomings.We must try to do better every day, which is not easy.
Above all, we must thank God every day, all during the day, for His Love and Mercy towards us.Even when things are not going too good, we must still thank Him. Out of the darkness comes the light, the light of our Salvation.
