How DOOMED do we have to be before the DOOM itself it DOOMED as well?

Or..is DOOM a state of "Being"..or is it and 'Event" with a beginning and an end which can be defined?

Or is DOOM a state of mind leading UP to the actual event of BEING DOOMED...as opposed to being DOOMED at the start..and then leading up to HAVING been DOOMED as a passed event?

Or..to put it another way...are we DOOMED BEFORE we are actually DOOMED as such...or are we only DOOMED..AFTER we are actually DOOMED..the EVENT of DOOM having taken place to justify the state of BEING DOOMED leading up to the event horizon of TOTAL DOOM!!??
