He walked around with his rods pointed to the place and said "drill over there". He was within 20 feet of depth and the gpm came in exactly as he predicted. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. There is a mysterious force at work there and somehow the dowsing rods are able to tap into that. I've read that people actually dowse for Gold too. I'd like to give that a try. |

I don't have any actual experience with the experience, but have always heard it works. You just concentrate on what you're looking for as you walk around with the rods in your hands. Supposedly it works with the power of your mind and the power of the earth (with the rods being the go-between). If I am going to be damned...I am going to be damned for who I really am! |

Lord-Moon User ID: 73681854 United States 08/05/2018 10:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I just take a pair of old school wire hangers, cut them with side cutters and then bend into "L" shape. Loosely hold the "L"'s in my hand (hold short part) and I can easily find water. I use it to locate buried irrigation lines and I've used to to locate multiple wells. It works. Its repeatable. You can walk past the water and the long part of the "L"s will go from crossing to reverse and point back to where the water is. You turn around and the "L"s turn with you to point to the water. You walk back towards the water and the "L"s will cross at the same place. You can approach the water from different directions with exacting results. |
Peepaws User ID: 73736714 United States 08/05/2018 10:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I found out I can do it, I was with a bunch of people trying and I did pretty good. At the time we were trying to figure out how it works as no one knew. I believe some people's electric fields are able to do it based on science that is maybe not known at this time. Peepaws |

ScoobySleuth User ID: 73161631 United States 08/05/2018 10:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So i'm watching a show the other day about dowsing and they are explaining how it used to find water, among other thing. Quoting: The_Kintner_Boy So I fill a glass with water and sit on the coffee table and then I go and get a pair of dowsing rods that I've had for years, but never used. I didn't think it would actually work, but every time I walked over the glass of water, they would cross over it. I was pretty amazed, but have no idea how this works. I am curious to what other things dowsing could be used for. Who has experience? I believe it is also called water witching. It's fairly common to hire someone with this skill when you want to try to find water on an off-grid property. ScoobySleuth |

There is a guy on the internet offering 1 million $$$ who can proof positive show that it works every single time, for water, oil, gold, lost objects, etc. No one has collected... Quoting: AmericanPatriot1776 it will never be 100% never seen anyone try this for Gold...or lost items......i have only seen it used for water.......typically when someone needs to drill a well. it will almost alway be close enough to drill. but today we have much better science and equipment.....things that can see in what is under the surface...... this will usually be closer to 100%....and take ones shaking hands out of the equation Last Edited by psyoptics on 08/05/2018 10:54 PM a good video editor can make anyone say anything the editor wants. |

Mental Case User ID: 76817143 United Arab Emirates 08/05/2018 11:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The problem i can see when used for gold...is most gold is in tiny amounts in the earth. You need to sleuce many tons of dirt to get one ounce of gold. If dowsing rods picked up tiny amounts of water like that, they would be crossing at every step you took.
