Lipstick lesbians

Two lesbians live next door to me. They're both older now, maybe 50's. One is feminine still, the other looks like a truck driver. The feminine one was likely a lipstick lesbian a generation ago. They both make me nauseous at this point.

I thought lipstick lesbians meant when two gorgeous women, like old school Pamela Anderson types were a couple, allegedly. They always went for the most wanted attractive guy or guys.

I never really bought it and the fact it doesn't exist anymore leads me to believe girls back then did it to attract a certain guy. They maybe thought it would make them more attractive to the guy. I never bought the girls were into one another.

I have a friend from HS who is a lipstick lesbian in her mid 40's and still gorgeous! Her wife isn't butch but isn't as attractive as she is. She's got a great career and I'm confident there are a number of disappointed men around her.

And a college friend who's totally butch but from a very well to do family with an amazing career- her wife is a model beautiful fashion designer.
