The WHOLE armor of God. In order, as in Ephesians 6, and essential for spiritual warfare.


1. Truth -John 3:21

2. Breastplate of Righteousness -Matthew 6:33 (saved sinners clothed in His righteousness)

3. Gospel of peace -Romans 10:15

4. Shield of Faith -Mark 11:22

5. Helmet of Salvation -Psalms 25:5

6. Sword of the Spirit which is the word of God -Hebrews 4:12 (constant, daily taking in of the Word)

Then and only then

7. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.


All the steps before prayer deal with the individual's relationship to Jesus Christ. I don't know about anyone else, but that's a lot of steps to get to a point where you are ready to 'go to war.'

If one is honest with oneself, are they doing all of that daily?

If not, you are in the middle of a battlefield with no protection.

Best to gear up before charging out onto the field. Yes?

Why were we given Ephesians 6?

The weapon for this spiritual warfare

Over and over again in Scripture we read, "In my name," "In Jesus' name," or "In his name." The devils were powerless because of his name (Luke 10:17). The demons were cast out in his name (Mark 16:17-18). Healing occurred in his name (Acts 3:6, 3:16, 4:10). Salvation comes in his name (Acts 4:12, Rom. 10:13). We are to baptize in his name (Matt. 28:19). We are justified in his name (1 Cor. 6:11). Everything we do and say is done in his name (Col. 3:17).

This is the authority in his name for blessings and against all evil. In the name above all names. That is why he gives you power over the evil ones. So yes you have authority in his name. If you do not use that authority that is up to you.
I give you the keys that whatever is bound in heaven shall be bound on earth and whatever is loosed in heaven will be loosed on earth.

This is a good thread OP I’ve felt that there is antichrist on the move and spiritual battles daily. I often pray in Jesus name for him to protect me and my family and he always answers prayer, always.

Thank You for your post OP. I'm in need of all the prayer warriors I can muster for a friend of mine who is in a terribly tragic situation with her son.

He went off to visit friends and family inner city and has been going from place to place wherever they will welcome him. He's gotten himself wrapped up in a really rough group of men that have been identified as an extremely radical group that recently merged with another faction party they have been linked to ambushing groups of people by mingling with large crowds and killing dozens of people all over the city as well as causing serious property damage and destroying food storage facilities.

She sent 2 of her sons to get him and they said he's had some sort of break down. He's been drinking all the time and refuses to return home for help. The group seems to be crediting him for most of the activities and his brothers report that while he wont leave them he's been witnessed pleading with them that he's going to die and to not say he did the things they are running around saying.

The group somehow managed to get a hold of an agent that poisons by yeast and is used in spiritual observation. It requires complete abstinence and is only consumed by men. They gave the agent to thousands of people from a different ethnicity that are migrants and farmers it's really unclear of the complete harm it has done. It has been reported that the group has been running around to people afflicted and pretending to be casting out demons from the victims.

She received notice they were looking for him for trial and the punishment was death for for terrorism and it had also been suggested that he had been found praying with young boys that were naked.

She's tried everything to reach him and authorities to tell them that he isnt well and has just received notice from a friend where he has been hiding out. The last time she tracked him down she was sent away and he claimed he hated her.

Her son came home frantic and they are headed back out together.. It appears he has surrendered that he has been brought to this position and has begun telling his friends that he was looking for donations to have a final gathering where they will eat him.

Please pray she makes it in time. The authorities are hard set on getting this group broken up and to show the public the mercy they have for what this terrorist group has been doing. They are going to make an example of my friends son and the biggest injustice is he is mentally unwell. Please pray his family finds compassion and he is returned to them.

Hi, this is why the world is in the mess it's in. No one understands the power of Love and whats hidden within it. So everyone has fuelled evil using Love. Christians giving their love to Jehovah, light workers giving their love to aliens and all sorts of entities here to feed off your energy. This is a powerful topic and message. Especially in these days that we are entering in. I read this story of this elderly lady who had a dream or vision. That men with weapons came to remove them from their homes. So she starts praying asking the lord what to do. And the Holy Spirit said speak and say that if they touch you that they would die where they stand in Jesus Christ name. The lady spoke as she heard. The soldiers laughed and tried to grab her and as as they touched her skin they fell dead. After that she woke up praising the Lord. This is the power that we have in God. And I believe this is something that we need in these last days for blessing others and stopping evils actions.

Unfortunately the Holy Spirit was the one thing THEY couldnt replicate or explain or inherit upon themselves.. Nor could they explain how the Holy Spirit had been saving sinners since long before David.. Since accepting Jesus was the "deal" so that the sinners could finally be saved.

Jesus now has the role since it's no longer fashionable to be burning Witches and Warlocks when you couldn't explain how some people had the Holy Spirit.. or why the Holy Spirit was more than just a burst of energy that made them jump up and down like they were on fire.

Our Creator has a very funny sense of humor... and it does make me giggle to watch him make the necromancers dance on live T.V. as they sell their bits of cloth covered in their bone juice live from a stage in Africa..
