I don't have kids. I love most all my family very much and keep close contact- even with my nutty (probably bi-polar) liberal sister. The only one I don't like is an aunt who is a very mean person. I wouldn't want to be estranged from a child, so I would try to accept it as best I could and talk to him about all my concerns- health wise- that affect gay men much more than others. I would have raised a child with my Christian beliefs, so they would know it wouldn't be in line with that when they told me. I would still love them and do the best I could with it. I wouldn't tell them- but it would break my heart.
