I think the percentages are a bit suspect on both sides when the film is so new. It even says there is no consensus yet.

Although, I would not be surprised if it ended up being close to 0% / 90%. I'll probably see it, I agree with a lot of what D'Souza has to say.

I am still digesting the movie as I just saw it yesterday. I, too, think the Civil War was about much more than slavery. I thought it was about States Rights. Basically, the northern control freaks called Yankess wanted to tell the south what to do.

But, on the other hand, a movie can only be so long and has to stay on topic. I will buy the book. The book probably has much more than the movie.

And as far as Democrats wanting immigrants here, a lot of motive for wanting more and more immigration, both legal and illegal, is that the glut of labor drives down wages, which is good for rich elitist Democrat employers, more poor, unskilled workers to exploit and take advantage of for their personal gain. That seems pretty racist to me too.

My grandfather told me to go see this. He said it is a really great movie, highly recommended.
